We had an absolutely delicious and mouthwatering dining experience at this restaurant today that exceeded all our expectations. Our group of eight ordered a generous spread of dishes, each more enticing than the last:

Read moreThe decor in the restaurant is really nice..that's the only impression that stuck. We ordered an appetizer chicken dish that was supposed to be dry or looked like it was from pics posted but when we got it, it was very spicy and had gravy on it. Definitely not an app or should have been served as a main dish.Didn't look like the pics. The mutton bone soup from pics and reviews wasn't as we had expected. There was mutton fat pieces , no bone and very watery. Then we ordered a Karam dosa, and that was the worst, very cold when we got it and I actually told them that we didn't want it. It was not crispy and just like it had been made a while back and reheated before serving. We decided to try the poori and channa curry after we gave back the dosa. I think of all the dishes that was the best.
You would think that since we complained about the dosa, a manager would come and talk to us about it and although, we saw someone who seemed to be like a manager, no one had come. The servers, only 3 of them were rushing around and to even get someone's attention to just get water was difficult. They weren't pleasant and honestly one of them didn't even look like she wanted to work there. Appearances matter, as servers, I don't think they should be walking around with nets on their head. There are ways to look presentable and also, the person, who seemed to be the manager was with jeans, sneakers and a baseball cap. Definitely didn't suit the ambience. Finally we ordered the payasam and the coffee. The payasam, although good was too sweet and the coffee had sugar added in it. I think that should be a choice a customer has to make as to whether we would like sugar in our...

The first thing that caught our attention was the ambience. It's not a huge space but it's decorated really well. There wasn't a wait when we went in. The next thing that pleasantly surprised us was the quality of the service. All the attendants were so attentive and smiling it automatically put us in a better mood right from the onset.
Then comes the food. Everything felt like the Chef's kiss. I swear I am not getting paid or asked my restaurant to write this review. 😂 The South Indian food passed the sambar test. For whatever reason, places that claim authentic taste just can't get sambar right. Dosa, idli, medu wada all were near authentic and perfect. The quantity of sambar provided was stingy though. The other thing that I hoped were different is that there are two table located right next to the washroom. So if there's a rush and you ended up being seated there, your experience might end up being a little different than ours.
We ended up ordering a lot like we hadn't eaten in ages. We would happily return here. Can't...
