I've gone to Stacked several times for their breakfast. I love their pancakes! However yesterday I decided to try something new, I regret that. I got the Reuben with an upgraded side to a Poutine for just over $21 at the Rylander location. I don't usually do reviews but this had me very upset, especially for how much I paid. Firstly the poutine was such a small amount it didn't even fill the bottom of the container, it was largely empty. Even worse it was so salty I ended up throwing it away. Im a person that doesn't mind salty or sour things but this was BEYOND. It's like they poured salt in the gravy, poured it on the fries, mixed both up together and then poured more salt on it. I even tried to counter it with ketchup but it was just too salty to salvage. Do y'all not try the food that you make? That should never be served to an animal let alone a human. The sandwich looked good but was just ok, I've had way better, crispy on top but very soggy at the bottom. I'm very upset I didn't have the time to return that day because I would have asked for a refund, at least for the poutine it was just so bad. I would love to come back for their breakfast but this experience has...

We told 2 different people that our table had water or something spilled at the table to which one waitress acknowledged it was tea but for the entire duration of our meal they did not clean it up. Our waitress was a bit uptight. She didn't smile or great us well. We mentioned the water to her and she barely acknowledged it. She seemed to have an attitude. My dad is humorous and made a joke about giving us a discount and it wasn't well received by our waitress because she responded rudely and couldn't seem to just laugh it off. Probably needs a brush up on her customer service skills. Unfortunately don't think she introduced herself with her name either before taking our order. I got the Mexican omelet, had no flavour and the fries were just salty. Also got the chocolate chip pancakes and although the top pancake had syrup and chocolate chips, the bottom pancake was dry! Food is very mediocre for the price. It's best to go to a cheaper local diner than overpay for food you...

It was my first time at this new Scarborough location and I enjoyed my delicious breakfast on their grand opening May 7, 2025. 50% off all meals today only! I got the Pancake Stack:

2 eggs served with 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 pancakes & homefries. $16.99

I also got a side of marble rye bread with their homemade jam which I loved from my visit to another location! I had to wait before getting a seat around 10:15am but once I was seated and ordered my meal came so quickly! Everything was hot and delicious but one of my eggs wasn’t cooked enough as you can see in photo.

Also the syrup on all the tables isn’t real maple syrup. You have to order pure maple syrup at an extra cost. And my rye bread and homemade jam was full price not 50% off.

Big thanks to my awesome server Claire who was fast and friendly! The ambiance was warm and comfortable though I wish I was seated near the windows rather than near kitchen entrance. It was busy day so I took what I could get! But I’ll be...

They are so disorganized I never knew Stacked can do a wait list so even though we waited 1/2 hour, the online waitlist comes first even if they are after us. Makes no sense. As most of them don’t show up until 10 minutes later. What’s the point of having a waitlist when you’re not there? On another note, food was so slow and cold. I had to hail down the manager to get a server to serve us. We will waited over 20 minutes to even try to even get coffee. My partner’s Avocado toast look like it was a spreadable avocado that was so thin you could barely see it. I asked the server where is the avocado? She goes off that it comes like that. Obviously, they don’t know what an avocado toast looks like! I love Stacked but this location was horrible. Hopefully they pan out things as they’re fairly new. Keep this up they might end up like Wimpys in the same plaza. I always give a Restaurant a second chance maybe down the road then they can get it together.
