Their daily specials are a decent deal, but make sure to order correctly. We had to pay extra for our burgers even after the server confirmed all burgers were on special for $9.99. The drinks menu is limited to craft beers, a handful of wines and pop. Calamari was pleasant. Jalapeno poppers had everything except the jalapeno. Sticky toffee cake lacked the classic custard. The chocolate molten lava cake was almost perfect, ice cream was bland. Try it out if you are in the area, otherwise not worth the drive.

Ordered out and the food came cold. I got the shepherds pie based on the description and it came covered in cold gravy, it looked like dog food, and the taste was very bland and small portion. The fries were bland and overall garbage. Mozzarella sticks were tasteless. Anyway, never again. I just cant understand how someone could make this shepherds pie and think someone would want to eat it.

The only reason I give two stars is the food is pretty good, and they have good soup. The lack of cohesion among the staff means inconsistencies over the various shifts...ie. "we don't have happy hour", ( why would you stop serving happy hour the week before Saint Patrick's Day?) or in my case , the disappearance of my prescription glasses. ( I had stepped out for a smoke. As I came back in, I was just in time to see the blonde bartender remove my glasses from the bar, (they had migrated away from the drink I'd left ) and tuck them in a cubby behind the bar and serve a customer who had just arrived.) I got distracted and forgot to ask for them. (I was staying at the attached hotel). In the morning I went to get them. The owner /manager was distracted by a sales rep, the poor server was waiting on a big table, and only had time to tell me she hadn't even started her shift. No one had seen my glassses. I went back later to catch the next shift, to no avail. They didn't know anything, hadn't seen or heard anything, or even been told I lost them or to keep their eyes open for them... (I would feel better if someone had said they had been told or asked about them. I would have liked to think they wanted me to get them back, but that is not the impression I got) . The next day, I went back again, this time I had to disturb the server from having a chat and a drink with her only other customer, and still have not turned them up. I have gone back everyday asking for them, on various shifts, and I have left my phone number. I have not seen the server who moved them from the bar. There is no communication between shifts, and apparently no consistent place for lost items. Hold on to your personal items. I feel like I have been robbed. TO THE BAR: If you do happen to find where youve put my glasses, please contact me here. Or Adrian (?sp) has my number. I have reported the theft to the police.

IN ADDENDUM : Thank you to the bar for the concern, it's just a real disappointment that you still...

It was going well when we got there but turned South just like the Raptors game that was going on. The food was average and the portions were small. I ordered a pound of wings for $6.29 which seemed like a pretty good deal but, when we received the bill they ended up they ended up charging $12. Also there were like 6 wings that were the size of McDonald's chicken nuggets on the plate, unbelivable! The waitress said that all specials end at 8 PM but she did not inform us before ordering our food and there was no indication of this on the menu! They also tried to tell us that it was on their chalk board outside the restaurant, when clearly they added it at the bottom when we wanted to argue with them about it. The waitress got really rude and impatient even when she made a mistake by double charging us for an item! We tried to call for a manager but the waitress wanted to sort it out on her own. Eventually the manager came and sorted it out for us. They also don't split your bill and want you to figure it out on your own. Guess it's a great place if you want to go eat by yourself. Will NEVER be returning to this place, save your money and go...

I visited this bar last week and had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel unwelcome. Before closing time, a server (appeared to be a middle-aged Sri Lankan woman) abruptly informed us that the kitchen was closed—no warning, no courtesy. Oddly enough, shortly after, other customers arrived and were served food without issue.

While we were still drinking, the same server removed our glasses from the table without even asking if we were finished. When questioned about it, she casually said “give another,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional. We were left feeling uncomfortable and disrespected.

To make matters worse, when we tried to address our concerns, another male staff member responded in an incredibly rude and aggressive manner, even telling us to leave. And to top it all off, we noticed that a tip was added without our consent. That is completely unacceptable.

This kind of behavior is immature, unprofessional, and reflects very poorly on the establishment. I would not recommend this place to anyone who expects basic respect and...
