For a special occasion, my family and I reserved a table for 8 around 5:30 pm. It was a good call on our part, before after our two hour limit at 7:30 pm, the place was PACKED. We got seated in the back, where (I believe) was actually the best seating in the house since we got our own little private corner. This table was a mix of chairs and bench seating, which we liked. Overall, I'd say this was one of the best AYCE experiences I've had in a long time. The quality of the food itself was good and tasty. Things I especially liked were the fried tofu (the sauce was delicious), the cheese wonton (which came out piping hot!), The sashimi pieces (which were very thick and fresh), as well as the handrolls (one of my favorites when it comes to sushi but always too expensive at à la cart so I get it at AYCE). OH, I almost forgot to mention their pork tonkotsu ramen which was on point! It tasted very similar to the ramen you go out for, as it had the same type of noodles and a very creamy, flavorful broth... Just mini-sized! Too cute. The thing I was most pleased with is actually their ordering system. At many other restaurants, we always fall into the issue of big groups surrounding one or two iPads, which made the whole process very tedious. Here, they give you a QR code to scan and connect to their wifi, then another code to scan to reach their ordering system, specific to your table. This meant that everyone was able to connect on their own devices (i.e. phones) to order. This made the process more efficient so you didn't waste your two hours waiting for your turn on the iPad. Following that, the food also came out very quickly. Service was also great. Most (if not all) of the staff were masked, while also providing friendly and efficient service. I appreciate that the servers were very responsive. The price point was quite good I'd say as well. It was $38.95 per adult since it was the weekend, but if you come Monday to Thursday, you can get the AYCE for $35.95. Do note, they also do takeout like their other locations, which I always hear good things about. But yes, this is their only AYCE location. Brief mention, the washroom was small but clean. There were two stalls, one bigger for better access.

This All You Can Eat Sushi restaurant only accepts debit or cash. No credit cards allowed here. The restaurant is kind of a small sized. You order the ayce menu off of your phone, you connect to the website for your table number and order your food from there. For each order, there is a specific limit and then you can't order anymore for that order number. Once you submit the order, you can order more food again. They have all sorts of Japanese food (sushi, sashimi, deep fried etc), some Chinese food, and some Thai food (green curry etc). I took a lot of pictures of the food. There really is alot of variety. I read that the ramen in actually decent in the ayce menu. And I tried the ramen. The tonkotsu ramen is pretty decent. Compared to Matsuda, the ramen at AiSushi is pretty good. Some of the sushi is really good, better than Matsuda. The sashimi is okay. The unagi torced sushi had fish scales in it... so it wasn't good at all. The fish wasn't cleaned properly. They are really quick on their feet if they see your cup of water half empty. They fill you up real fast with more water. Their dessert is pretty good. The ones that we tried. My friends liked the Japanese cheesecake. I didn't like it cause it was more like a sponge cake instead of cheese in the cheesecake. The lychee jelly is super good! So addicting. My friend got so addicted to the lychee jelly that after we left the restaurant, we went a Chinese grocery store to get him a bag of lychee jellies. +100 for lychee jelly. My friend said that the mango ice cream tasted like cheese... And that for some reason, all ayce restaurants had cheese tasting mango ice cream. The black sesame ice cream was pretty good. You could literally taste the black sesame. It's definitely in there alright. Would come back here again. The food was good, the quality was good too. I wanted to try more of the ramen/udon, fried rice, green curry, Thai and Chinese dishes, but I didn't have enough stomach space to put it in. Each of us (3), paid around $46 for the weekend ayce sushi experience. On the cheaper end of ayce sushi in Toronto.

I've been to the two locations in Richmond Hill and Markham previously. I have enjoyed the food at both of those locations. Naturally when the Scarborough location open I decided to check it out and see how they're doing. I really like that this particular restaurant does have a dining area versus the previous two locations. They also have a section on the other side for people who are getting takeout and would like to eat or to take home. With the dine in option you can still order the restaurant party platters. We ended up ordering 100 PC of sushi sashimi and maki, the Ai roll, chicken skewers, enoki mushroom beef roll and also the Japanese fried udon with chicken. Skewers were nice and delicious. The Ai roll I felt was a bit large but packed with a lot of salmon so seemed a bit hard to eat but it was still good. The party platter tray was still good and nicely presented. One thing I did notice was the sushi rice was just a little under seasoned in terms of the vinegar taste. I had just picked up a 60 PC earlier on Wednesday and that takeout tray was excellent - the rice was great so I think it was just this time. I know they are still ironing out the kinks so I'm sure that won't be an issue as they get used to running things. I really liked the fried udon, the sauce as not too much and nicely coated the noodles and the taste was really great. Otherwise service was good. Really enjoyed the hot food and would love to come back and try their pad Thai and curry! They also have bento boxes and prices are really reasonable. It's great to have a decent Japanese option around this part of town!

Since I was in the downtown Toronto area, I decided to come check this place out as I was craving sushi and this place seemed to have numerous positive reviews. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed.

At first, we were welcomed warmly by the hostess at the front and sat down at a cute, clean table. I was eager to order because of the positive reviews on this place. When I scrolled through the tablet, I was disappointed by the lack of sushi and sashimi options, but i guess the maki options made up for it. There was also a decent variety of Asian fusion foods too, which was nice.

First thing I have to say about their food is that their wasabi and ginger is absolute garbage. I'm huge on ginger and usually eat two small dishes of them before I eat anything else, and I literally didn't bother touching it. The ginger tasted like it the $1 ginger you buy from Chinese supermarkets, and the wasabi was a completely flavourless paste.

Upon hitting the order button, the sashimi and sushi were quick to arrive within two minutes. The rest didn't take to long to arrive either. I was impressed by both the efficiency and the presentation of the food. I started with the sashimi, and to my disappointment, the sashimi tasted partially frozen and imporperly thawed. The salmon looked and tasted rather strange, so I didnt bother ordering any more of it. The saba (mackerel) was clearly salted witb table salt as it was unevenly seasoned. The saba lacked natural flavours and was warm, as if it was left outside for a long time.

Nextly, I had the maki rolls, and some of them weren't too bad. The philedelphia roll for example; the rice was tightly packed and not loose like maki rolls should be, but it was not bad in terms of taste. The spicy _ rolls (spicy salmon in my case) were dribbled with a large dobble of spicy mayonnaise, but the spicy mayo lacked any spice and was just mayonnaise with red food colouring. I'm unsure of the special rolls' names, but they were all dramatically, overly salted beyond anyone's reasonable standards, and three pieces probably contained more salt than I would consume in a day. It would have been pretty good, there were some very good ingredients in there, but it was just so salty that I poured tea in a little bowl to wash off the salt. I was quite disgusted with the amount of salt in their rolls.

In addition, I also tried some of their other foods like the grilled mussels. Again, presentation was fantastic, but it was unbelievably salty, to the extent that I had to spit it out. I quite like mussels, so I decided to give the cocktail mussels and cocktail shrimps a try instead. The mussels weren't great, tasted half frozen like the sashimi, but the shrimp was so bad that I had to go the washroom to spit it out and rinse my mouth.

I decided that it was enough and that it was time to leave. Before leaving, I decided to try some of their desserts. They have a pretty decent variety of and I was excited to give it a try. I ordered a green tea ice cream but was super sad when I was unable to stab my spoom into the ice cream because kt was frozen solid. I thought I'd try a sesame one. Same thing. Took ten minutes before it even began to thaw. In the meantime, I ordered a piece of cheesecake and that was frozen solid too! Taking a bite into it actually hurt my teeth because it was so cold. Their deep fried milk custard had no custard in it, and the only desert that was okay was the pudding. I was done being disappointed and asked for the bill.

My friend wanted to pay with cash, but I wanted to grab the bill and explained to the server in Chinese that I wanted to pay with credit instead. She asked if my friend didn't have enough cash, to which I explained that she did but I wanted to pay with credit. She explained that they did take credit but that she'd rather tale cash. Kind of baffled by her response, I insisted on paying credit, to which she continued to refuse and gave the bill to my friend instead.

Not saying this place is always bad, but my personal experience was lowkey not so good. Will not...

I really want to give ZERO STAR for this restaurant but that isn't an option!

Came here to pre-celebrate Valentine with my friend, both of us were super excited because of all the good reviews that were posted on their restaurant. We sat down and started to order. At first, we felt that the food was reasonable, the cow tongue especially had a good texture and flavour. Not soon after, we were served a dish of broccoli, and my friend tasted bitterness when she took a bite. She immediately spit it out and found black spots on the veggie.

Time has passed by and the hand rolls and sashimi that we ordered did not come until 20 minutes after. (During the whole hour of dining, there were only our table and another table with TWO customers in the ENTIRE restaurant!) We felt strange as the seaweed that wraps around the hand rolls already felt very soggy and hard to chew. Honestly, it almost felt like rubber and it was so hard to tear it using our teeth. The food obviously has been placed out there for a long time before they were delivered to our table. We felt quite upset because we have always tried hand rolls in multiple sushi restaurants and buffet places but have never experienced this.

Not long after we began to have our second order since we wanted to try something different, hoping to taste something good. I suddenly felt very nauseous and immediately ran to the washroom to vomit. We felt that something was wrong with the food. My friend immediately called the manager to come and notify him of what just happened. In the end, the manager apologized for such a horrible experience and offered to waive one person's bill.

Not only did their food cause us problems, during the entire dine-in experience, we have received VERY POOR SERVICE from the lady server there. First of all, during the whole time, the server never asked how I was doing and how I felt. She was standing there, looking at what was happening, never came to say A WORD. It felt very COLD and UNPROFESSIONAL. It really felt like it was not any of her business at all. And overall, we were eating there for almost an hour, and during the process, she never came and asked how the food was, and if we needed anything.

We don't recommend this place to anybody and we'll...
