The hijabi girl working the drive-thru during closing is consistently rude, disrespectful, and appears to be trying to manipulate customers into tipping.
During one visit, I arrived five minutes before closing, drove up to the speaker, and placed my order. She did not inform me that they were closing soon. After taking my order, I drove to the window, and she immediately began complaining, saying, āNext time, come earlier; we close at 9:30 p.m.ā I had arrived at 9:25 p.m. and was unaware of their closing time. I apologized multiple times, but she continued to complain.
When she handed me the debit machine to pay, it was set to the tip screen. She kept moving the machine to try to make me select a tip instead of āno thank you.ā I accidentally clicked āother amountā and then selected $0, specifically because of her actions. While handing me my drink, she spilled part of it because of how quickly she passed it to me. I said, āNo problem,ā took my drink, and left, assuming she might have been having a bad day.
On a different occasion, I went through the drive-thru and encountered her again. This time, she simply stared at me without saying āhiā or āhello.ā Confused, I said, āHello?ā She shut the window without a word, then returned with my drink, handed me the debit machine, and repeated the same tactic, moving the machine in an attempt to make me tip. I managed to select āno thank youā and completed my payment. After she handed me the drink, I said, āThank you.ā She did not respond at all.
My first visit was at 9:25 p.m. tue, oct 29,2024. My second visit was on Thursday, November 7th, 2024, at around 8 p.m. Both times, it was the Somali hijabi woman working the drive-thru.
She needs to be retrained, as her customer service skills are poor. If she didnāt want to serve me at 9:25 p.m., she could have simply informed me over the speaker, saying, āSorry, weāre closed.ā That would have been completely acceptable. Her behavior is unprofessional, and her repeated attempts to cheat customers into tipping by moving the machine is concerning. She needs to face consequences for her actions. Also for anyone going through the drive-thru, watch out she could be moving the machine on purpose for customers to miss...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is a very pathetic Starbucks, do not go here. They will get the order wrong and then blame you that you ordered wrong. There are plenty of Starbucks around so spend your money somewhere else. I order three drinks, repeated my order twice. I came home and there was a latte with no milk and just syrup and espresso. I called and would have just came back for one latte to be fixed. However Jenna the manager, told me to return and that whatever I ordered would be on the house next time. Very nice of her, but told her I was only going to order what I ordered when the drink was messed up. I returned today and spoke with Brittany who felt the need to tell me that I ordered wrong, to which I said no I said coconut milk, she said no, it was confirmed with me that it was syrup and espresso only. She said she steamed the milk but confirmed with me that it was syrup and espresso only. The cup said coconut milk on the label, I order the same thing for my wife always. But she felt the need to tell me that "You ordered wrong but I'm gonna make the free drinks for you." I responded no thank you I am taking my business elsewhere I don't need free drinks, admit your faults and apologize. Customer service is non existent here. Stay away, this will be pursued further. When staff think that it just free stuff that can satisfy customers, and they can give attitude, that business has trouble, and you need to stay away from that. I will just go to a different Starbucks and spend the money for the drinks. Customer service is more important then throwing free drinks in people's faces. By the way if I ordered wrong why in the world would you put it in a venti cup, why does the label say coconut milk, and why did you steam the milk, and why did you charge me for coconut milk if I didn't order it, it was on the receipt she tried to show me. Might be time to retrain your staff. FYI this is not my first issue here, they mess up...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy recent visit to the Starbucks drive-thru left much to be desired, resulting in a disappointing experience that fell short of my expectations. Unfortunately, several aspects contributed to this 2-star review:
Incorrect Order and Wait Time: Upon receiving my order, I realized that it was incorrect, and I had to wait in the parking space for a new drink. The extended wait time of 5-7 minutes was frustrating, especially when we were told that the replacement drink would be brought to us.
Poorly Made Drink: Despite the wait, the replacement drink we received wasn't made well. It lacked the quality and taste that I associate with Starbucks' beverages, making it a far cry from the enjoyable experience I had hoped for.
Miscommunication and Lack of Follow-Through: The discrepancy between the promise of delivering the replacement drink and finding it sitting at the counter added to the overall disappointment. The miscommunication and lack of follow-through on the initial assurance further marred the experience.
Wasted Money and Time: The combination of the wrong order, lengthy wait, and poorly made drink resulted in both a waste of money and time. It was disheartening to leave Starbucks without the satisfying treat I had looked forward to.
In conclusion, my recent visit to the Starbucks drive-thru was far from satisfactory. The incorrect order, extended wait time, poorly made drink, miscommunication, and lack of follow-through all contributed to this disappointing experience. I had hoped for a quick and enjoyable coffee stop, but instead, it turned out to be a complete waste of both money and time. I sincerely hope that this review serves as constructive feedback for improvement...
