Dear sir, I visited your store at 10 westmore dr today ( Aug8,2021 ) to buy a storage bin (steel) for storing flour( Atta ). I picked up a bin and went to the counter. To my surprise the girl said she cannot scan it. She looked for some sticker showing the price which was missing. She referred me to a lady (Hetal ). She said it is $70 plus tax ,may be about $90. I went back and brought another container which was a little bigger in size and priced $70 Again I went to Hetal(who claimed herself to be the supervisor ). I said , the container I wanted to buy ( smaller in size ) , how come price is same. Then a funny equiry by her from a male colleague, who said take $5 less. I said you do not look like a supervisor. She could later find a sticker inside the container which showed the price $59.99. She was quoting $70
When the scanner sticker is still there on the bin , why cannot it be scanned. 2 . The response to my quary from Ms Hetal was arrogant. She needs to be updated about her attitude to the customer. Please advise your staff to double check the price and if they are not sure , let them verify and then tell. Do not use hit and trial price. ( AAP $5 cum de do) . Sorry for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently made an online order on Asian Food Centre's website and everything went smoothly for me. To Angie S, the delivery service was new when you posted that review so that is probably why you may have had a bad experience. Maybe try talking to someone there about your experience I'm sure they would love your feedback. Some issues should be expected when a new service starts off. They have improved since the time you ordered for sure because I had a great experience.
It's pretty sad to see small family run businesses being treated like this. The good thing about a small business is that you are able to go give your feedback, which is harder to do for some big business like Walmart.
To Samy Kumar, it is impossible for all vegetables sold to be in perfect condition. This is why stores put them on display, so you can choose what you buy. Asian Food Centre does not box their fruits and vegetables so that customers are aware of what they purchase. Staff are not unreasonable with what you can and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate Nov 2024. There are thousands of products here, unbelievable variety and brands. The only problem I have with most Indian grocery stores, including Asian is the religious music playing on the overhead PA system. There is no escape. If I want to be spiritual, I'll go to the temple, not shopping. There are people of different faiths as well as those of no faith, shopping here. Not all appreciate each other's beliefs. So let's keep the shopping experience clean, respectful and simple.
Previous review: Great prices, fresh produce, good variety, tons of variety. And you can order your meals and snacks here. There isn't a place to sit and eat, but this is not a restaurant. There has been a lot of improvement in cleanliness over the years. It is Punjabi owned but clients from everywhere shop here. That means you don't pay for chutney when you buy samosas. They even have eggless cake here. Can't vouch for how freah it is, but the cake pastries look...
