Subway — Restaurant in Toronto

So Sukhjot (said she is manager) smirked and said “go leave a review”!. So I’m doing as the “manager” suggested. After spending 15 minutes inside the location I had to leave without a sandwich because the two women ahead of me already waited “25 min” according to one (glad it’s all on video) and I had to pick up my son from class so I had to walk out after my wait. No effort was made to expedite the orders or clients. Even when we suggested that one attendant go with one client or the other the two workers insisted on working on the same order - making the rest of us just wait.

• When I walked into the location - I found two women with kids standing quietly but angry - With one attendant Sukhjot making two sandwiches “from a paper receipt”. The other attendant didn’t show up until after I lost my patience and asked where the second person is. At which point the other women shared how long they’ve been standing there. I dont know how long the other person away but clearly the other two customers would have been attended “in those 15, 25 min” they said they waited until I arrived. There was not even a nod to the clients to say - hey sorry for the delay we will be with you shortly. I waited patiently to have them resolve “their lineup” but it took far too long. The attitude and the pace was the worst part. The Customer before me even said “of this is FAST Food”. I have been a client of Subway for a long time and know many different locations and I know that subway and as Franchise prides itself as a global corporation and has earned their image - locations / and especially STAFF like this - undermine the brand and make the franchise operator looking incompetent for hiring an incompetent team, but worse off - Bad attitude and no client conflict resolution. If this lady is indeed the manager at her very very young age … Then I hope she learns that clients is what makes the business possible and being able to service clients for an establishment is a privilege. Especially in this economy where there are many people who would gladly treat others well. I do hope they can improve or at least attempt the service clients before they walk away.

Oh and wouldn’t be leaving this review unless she said “im the only one you can talk to” so go leave a review and pointed to the QR code on the scan. As an owner of multiple service establishments myself previously - I know that if I was the owner of this location - I would prefer to know what was going on when I’m not there and how my clients were treated. Since she said I can’t speak to the owner I should leave a public review...

If you are going to open sandwich fast food restaurant and set up a seating area for dine-in customers you have to have in offer some drinks and you have to give those dine-in customers access to the bathroom. Granted that you are doing renovation, so in this case you shouldn’t set tables in the dining area and you should advice your customers that you are serving only take-out customers during the time of renovation. So, the customer who wants a place to dine-in will have the choice to go to another sandwich place that will be more suitable for what they want, i.e. have something to drink with the sandwich and access to washroom. Failure to do so is disrespectful and inconsiderate to...

Pratik is an absolute rockstar when it comes to making subs! The care and attention he puts into every sandwich really shows—everything is fresh, perfectly layered, and packed with flavor. You can tell he’s passionate about what he does, and it makes the whole experience that much better. On top of that, the store itself is spotless! The counters, tables, and prep area all looked incredibly clean and well-kept, which made me feel confident and comfortable dining there. Huge shoutout to Pratik for not only serving up the best subs but also maintaining such a welcoming, clean environment. Definitely my go-to spot...
