"Hot mini doughnuts now"? More like "hot mini doughnuts in an hour" because that's how long it took.

While I understand the growing pains of a business, having worked in restaurants before, there is a lot to be improved in the operations of this place.

While I appreciate that they make their donuts fresh, batter should be prepared in advance and stored in a fridge for instances like today where they ran out of batter and had to make it from scratch, prolonging the wait even further.

From an operations perspective, employees were not used efficiently. Since they had two employees running the place, batter should be prepped by one employee while the other handles the donuts that have already been made. One employee should not be running to Dollarama across the street (twice during the hour-long wait) to purchase paper towels and gloves.

Stop accepting UberEats and Ritual orders if your operations have become so unmanageable that your in-person customers have to wait more than an hour.

Be transparent and tell in-person customers upfront that the wait will be more than an hour before they place their order.

Gestures of goodwill go a long way. We were not offered additional donuts when our order was ready. Nor were we offered a refund for having to wait an hour. We were only offered additional donuts (which we did not accept) after we requested a refund. And while we did state we did not want the donuts and just the refund because we were tired of waiting so long, I was surprised that they didn't offer for us to just keep the donuts from our original order.

If you decide to try this place, be sure to order 24 hours in advance. It appears that's how long of a lead time they need to get your order ready. What a waste of a Friday night.

Edit to add: I like how the owner calls me impatient for not being okay with waiting more than an hour for donuts. Just to be clear, I was not after free donuts. I am, however, used to better service and gestures of goodwill from small businesses, where some sort of compensation is offered for wait times that are unacceptable. I'm glad to hear they'll now be doing this going forward. I stand by my review as my feedback was constructive and gave tips to improve efficiency, operations, and transparency to better serve customers. I hope last night was a one-off and they are just going through growing pains as...

This place is pure hype. Absolutely nothing stands out about their donuts from 6ix Donuts and other competitors - in fact the variety here is worse. The doughnuts are still tasty but another issue with this place is the complete lack of customer-centric thought. There is no space for customers inside. If a single person is inside ordering, you are waiting outside on the street in the cold or rain. There seems to be enough space to allocate inside for at least a few people to wait, but instead they have their supplies which would normally be in the back. No clue what's in the back but it seemed to be just a place for them to chill and hang out, they only make one thing so it's not like they have to stock extensive ingredients or anything. What really killed the experience here was the bad customer service. The guy serving me had a very exhausted, unwilling energy to him. Like he was making it very obvious he did not want to be there serving me. Blows my mind that this place has such a...

5/5 doughnuts, 1/5 service. I was so excited to stop in here to get my friend some mini doughnuts as a thank you for hosting us on NYE. I have never had such poor service anywhere. I am not one to leave negative reviews but feel the owners should know about this. It was very clear the employee working did not want to be there and was less than happy to have to interact with customers. No acknowledgement when you walk in, when I talked or asked questions, responses ranged from silence to rude looks to snarky answers with attitude. It truly felt like he resented me and the other customer for being there. On top on this, I waited 30 minutes for my order as no doughnuts were being made when I walked in so he begrudgingly started a new batch when I ordered. Informing me of the wait time at the start would have been appreciated.

The doughnuts tasted great but this experience left such a horrible taste in my mouth. I know that everyone has off days but this was not an acceptable way to...

First time trying the donuts after receiving the BOGO coupon from an IG reel post. The location on Dundas-Grove is only for pickups, the lady that assisted us told is to wait outside & she will hand us the order once complete. We picked 2 dips that I'm so curious to try (one was the Secret dip) but my daughter wanted an extra & I wasn't ready to buy one 😅 so we left it like that with her pouty face. After a few minutes, the donuts came out fresh & hot & the lady (I'm so sorry I didn't get your name, but if you're reading this, you will remember that little girl! 😉), threw in an extra strawberry dip because "I heard you over there", & my girl's eyes lit up in happiness! Little wins that makes an establishment shine besides their good food! Their tiny donuts were so good, overindulging required, the BOGO promos are worth it! The dips were a nice compliment, I found it not too sweet, just a perfect amount. Will definitely come back!
