I was their first customer of the day on Wednesday. Came right at opening - 7am. Throughout my time there (7-8:30am), customers were flowing in and out. There were only ever 1-2 other people dining in at a time.

I chose to dine in and try several items off their menu based on recommendations from other reviewers. For dine in, all the seats are stools. Most are aligned to face the wall or store windows, good for individuals. There's one center table that can fit 6-8 people. For dine-in, you can order your food and pay, then they will serve you where you're seated. They offer free water, located in a giant mason jar dispenser by the entrance and garbage.

I ordered several items based on other reviewers' recommendations on Google.

Combo D – choice of 1 sandwich + 1 crepe egg roll + 1 drink. I got the ham sandwich, paid extra for the bread stick and pork floss crepe egg roll, then for the drink I got the breakfast milk tea.

The ham sandwich was filled with an egg, ham, and a variety of vegetables. It reminded me of the ones I make at home. It was simple and delicious.

For the bread stick and pork floss crepe egg roll, I paid extra as it's not part of the combo selection. It tasted really good! I normally don't like pork floss, but I really like theirs.

I wish the breakfast milk tea came in a jug size.i would buy that. It didn't give me lactose or caffeine problems. It wasn't too sweet or strong.

I additionally ordered the sausage rice roll, which was like a literal rice burrito. The portion was great. Unfortunately, I thought it was too salty and spicy. I couldn't finish it in the end.

Before I left, I ordered the honey lemon juice. I was expecting more of a Hong Kong style lemon tea (I don't know why). It was very basic and very strong in the honey flavour. It wasn't worth the price in my opinion.

The staff were friendly.

Overall, it was a good, enjoyable meal. I...

I was here to visit Toronto, and I was craving for some authentic Taiwanese breakfast. Quite disappointed. Not worth the trip.

Walking to this location, I had a hard time finding it. It is actually operated by Four Four South Village.

We waited for 15 minutes while the server was trying to “get ready” to take our order. There were only us and another table dining at the restaurant. We went to get the server and she told us we will have to wait because there is a lot of takeout orders that they’re busy dealing with. It made me feel like they were prioritizing takeout orders than dining in customers.

Later we realize the server got the wrong order… The owner was extremely nice though. He came out to apologize, and made us a new order. He also gave us a complimentary milk tea (which taste really good)

The food is okay, but overall wasn’t amazed by it. We wanted to order fan tuan (rice ball) but they said we’ll have to wait for 20 mins for the rice to cook. So we went with a double cheese Dan bing, Pork Floss Egg Scallion pancake, fried dough and soy milk. Dan bing taste authentic, but lacks crispness. Scallion pancake and fried dough are also both not crispy enough to the Taiwanese standard. Without that crisp, it’s easy to make this at home, just pan fry frozen Dan bing skin and scallion...

A True Gem (Even for the Egg-Averse!)

This place is an absolute gem. Let me tell you, I have a deep aversion to eggs. A friend invited me to grab breakfast here, and after looking at the menu and pictures online, I was uneasy. Everything—especially the amazing-looking bites—seemed really tasty but also really packed with egg.

However, I knew my friend's recommendations are always on point, so I decided to trust her completely and didn't even mention my "hate of eggs." I let her decide what we'd order... and I have zero regrets!

We tried multiple things: crepes, rice balls, and a sandwich. Every bite was truly better than the next. What's more, I can confidently say the chefs here know how to balance eggs perfectly. They're present, yes, but they enhance the dish rather than overwhelm it. Even I enjoyed them!

And seriously, the pork floss? That is something I didn't know I was missing in my life. It added the most incredible texture and savory flavor.

If you're on the fence, jump over it. If they can win over an egg-hater like me, they can win over anyone. I look forward to visiting...
