Sushione is my new go-to sushi spot—hands down. I’m honestly still thinking about the rolls we had days later, and I don’t say that lightly.
We ordered three different rolls to share, and each one had its own standout qualities—but the clear favorite for all of us at the table was the Love Me Roll. It’s a torched salmon roll that just melts in your mouth. The salmon was buttery and rich, and the slight sear from the torching brought out a smoky, savoury depth that was absolutely addictive. The texture was perfect—soft but with just enough bite—and the flavor was so well-balanced, with just the right amount of sauce. It’s the kind of roll you order “just to try,” and then immediately regret not getting two of.
We also had the California Roll, which I know sounds basic, but it was done so well. Fresh crab (or really good imitation crab if that’s what it was—either way, we weren’t complaining), creamy avocado, and just the right proportion of rice to filling. It’s a classic for a reason, and this one reminded us why.
The Dragon Roll was the final one we tried, and again, no notes. Beautifully presented, the eel was fresh and delicately glazed, and it had that perfect sweet-savory flavor that ties everything together. We could tell they put a lot of care into both the preparation and the plating.
But it wasn’t just the food that won us over. The service was exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and seated right away. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care that we were having a good experience. Our server checked in just the right amount—not too frequent, not too distant—and was super knowledgeable when we asked for recommendations. She even let us know that the Love Me Roll was one of their best sellers, and wow, were we glad we took her advice.
You could tell that the whole team—from the front of house to the kitchen—really takes pride in what they do. Everything came out promptly, beautifully presented, and tasted incredibly fresh. Even the ambiance was just right: clean, calm, and cozy enough for a relaxed night out but also perfect for a casual dinner or even a quick bite after work.
All in all, Sushione has completely won me over. The quality of the sushi, the warmth of the service, and the overall vibe of the place all add up to a stellar dining experience. I’m already planning my next visit—and next time, I’m absolutely getting two Love Me Rolls. Highly,...
Read moreWe visited this sushi restaurant for the first time after reading many positive reviews, excited to try their offerings. Unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing due to a serious incident that occurred during our meal. We ordered the Super Salmon Special Roll. In the middle of eating, I suddenly bit down on something extremely hard—so hard, in fact, that it nearly broke my tooth. I immediately stopped, removed the object from my mouth, and examined it. It appeared to be a hard shard, possibly broken china or plastic, and was definitely not edible. It was nothing like the usual texture of any food component, and certainly not something that should be in sushi. I brought this to the attention of our waitress, handing her the piece and asking if she could check with the kitchen to clarify what it was and how it ended up in our food. She returned and told us it was simply an “overcooked tempura bit.” I was not convinced at all, as the object was far too hard and dense to be any kind of tempura. I requested to have the piece returned so I could show them and discuss further, but was told that it had already been given to the manager and could not be brought back for us to examine again. This response felt evasive and left us feeling that the staff were more interested in dismissing our concern than investigating it properly. What was most disappointing was not just the foreign object itself, but the way the staff handled the situation. There was no genuine apology or attempt to take responsibility, and it felt like they were trying to sweep the incident under the rug rather than address it openly and professionally. Given the seriousness of the situation and the lack of accountability, we cannot recommend this restaurant. We were hoping for a great dining experience, but instead left feeling upset and concerned for future customers. We will not be returning. I am attaching a photo of the object we found in our food...
Read moreWe visited this place for dinner of weekend. It was quite early and there was no waiting luckily. We were greeted with smile by the staff. Since we had a stroller with us, the staff arranged the tables to make space for the stroller.
The ambience is nice. There were families with kids along with young groups visiting the restaurant which was good to see.
The menu looked extensive and so are the food portions, they are very sufficient and satisfying.
We were a family of four plus an infant. We order chicken katsudon, mushroom udon, spicy salmon roll and chicken wonton soup.
The chicken wonton was sumptuous. The wontons were fresh and tender. The broth was tasty. It was quite a quantity for the price.
The spicy salmon rolls were all gone in a jiffy...thanks to the taste. There was a slight crunch when you put the roll in mouth which took us by surprise in a good way. We liked it.
The mushroom udon delivered to our table was in a huge bowl with extra bowls to share and salad on side ...which we weren't expecting as it was our first time to this restaurant. 😀
The chicken katsudon had many crispy pieces of chicken along with rice, curry, a small soup bowl and some salad on side as well. It was a complete meal on its own and a yummy one.
Overall I'm happy about the food and staff experience here. I would be definitely visiting this place again to try more...
