Taco Bell — Restaurant in Toronto

When I was informed the Taco Bell/KFC changed to just the KFC and the Bell moved down the street, I was excited for the change as the service was a hit or miss.

On my first visit, it's quite quiet and was order quickly. Since then I've ordered the same item, which has been varying in quality. Overall the new storefront vibe is definite. Self-serve stations as well as tables inside. For a early winter grand opening, no patio despite having space for one.

Food is as expected from any fast food, cheap and fast enough to serve en masse. However this place while busy, can take some time. Ten tacos with fries and nachos is about 10 - 20 minutes which isn't fast but the results are definite. Presentation is inconsistent. Out of the 4 visits, I got a well presented box once while the others had erroneous problems which brings cost to the point where competitors look better alternatives. Problems such as poorly assembled containers causing loss of product and being compensated with less (Box broke and lost the nachos and fries, compensated with cinnamon twists for a $30 order which is less calories than the fries and nachos), incorrect orders (Ordered a party pack which is 10 tacos, 2 fries and 2 nachos, but received half), insufficient complimentary items (One instance, I was given 3 sauce packets for 10 tacos).

With this inconsistent presentation and service, it's difficult to recommend this location to anyone. I enjoy coming for tacos since it is cheap but consider the effort on the customer to ensure their own enjoyment, I feel the cost to value puts me off from the price. For such a modern looking fast food place, it suffers greatly from offering...

I ordered a crunch wrap supreme combo and the guy that served me at the counter asked if I wanted a free churro which I replied sure and then he responded with ok well fill out a review on google. Which I responded not right now. Thought it was a little soon since I hadn’t even been given my food yet. Get my crunch wrap supreme and there is no beef in it, like the tiniest bit over to one side. It was basically just tortilla wrap with cheese and lettuce for about 90% of it. It was void of any sort of protein. I went up and asked why there was no beef in it to which the guy on the counter responded we put a portioned out size in it, something along those terms and I again emphasized my disappointment about how there was no beef in it wrap. And I pointed at the photo the show is about an inch thick with beef and he told me not to pay attention to the photos, they don’t show the accurate portions … and I said ok, so it’s false advertising then? To which he responded no just don’t look at the photos. He seemed to be getting really frustrated with me and went to talk to someone else and came back out and offered to give me a package of beef on the side…. Which is ridiculous… I just wanted a simple crunch wrap with beef in it like it shows on the picture. After he huffed and puffed at me and rolled his eyes a couple more times they ended up making me a new one which was better but the whole experience was just really awkward and disappointing and really bad service. No apology and 4 of them were standing there staring at me like I was inconveniencing them. Don’t order here if you don’t wanna get ripped off of meat in your taco. lol. Go rot Popeyes...

Last night at 1:35 am we came to this place with my friend the staff was not happy to see us and we were just waiting for our food after ordering from the kiosk and one of the employees threw the chairs and started cleaning the tables quickly he didn’t want us to be there and he sprayed the chemical surface cleaner in his hand on the table where we were sitting and THEN HE PURPOSELY SPRAYED IT ON US! Can you believe it? all we got in return he was smile and saying sorry and saying what can ı do ? An employee who is not happy that you ordered at that hour while we were waiting for your food sprays chemical surface cleaner on you just to disturb you!! And after we ordered they said you can not do dine in ?! THIS NOTE FOR THE MANAGER OR STORE OWNER PLEASE WATCH THE CAMERAS ON aug 8 1:40 am and you will see how horibble your stuff is. You guys waste of space if don’t want to customer come in after 1:30 then close the doors and change business hours!...
