Abysmal. I truly have not been this upset about a burger in a very long time. I've loved Burger's Priest since their original location but I am just very disappointed I opted to write about it. I came here on a Monday night around 9:30pm. In the middle of ordering my burger, the phone rings and the individual behind the counter proceeds to finish the takeout/delivery order and pauses my order... Fine. After waiting I order a burger (with lettuce, tomato, pickle, secret sauce - which the person behind the counter shrugged when I asked if it contained dairy) and fries. I sat waiting for a while... After receiving my order I immediately sit to enjoy it in the restaurant. My burger is cold, the buns are not toasted, the patty is burnt, crispy, lacking seasoning. Very little sauce, two small slices of pickles, and a slice of tomato too widely cut and ice cold. Why is my burger cold when I ordered it in the store and ate it in the store? My fries were also luke warm. I didn't finish either as they were close to inedible. I've had McDonald's at 1am after a 40 minute delivery be more enjoyable.
Oh Burger's Priest, how you've fallen like a fallen angel....
Read moreHad a double cheeseburger with fries and pop for $16.80 and it was disappointing. The burger patties are bland and over pressed giving them a dry flavorless texture. There was no seasoning detected! Just plain beef. Just so you guys know... that's not good lol I know some people think that's the way to go well... no you have to season your hamburger with atleast some salt and pepper. Next the fries. Burnt. They tasted like they were cut from scratch and thrown in the fryer. You need Kennebec potatoes and you need to soak them in water salt and lemon over night to extract the starch. Then you precooked them the next day. Only then are they ready for a good frying. They will turn out golden crispy!!! The pop was warm. You need to turn up the fridge buddy. Don't be cheap with electricity. I hope this free lesson from a certified Chef does you some good and did not offend you like everyone usually does when they get corrected. I hope you consider following my steps for better quality food because Toronto deserves better. Do Better. Also bring those prices down were not all loaded here...
Read moreThey just can’t get our order right. Whether it’s the wrong toppings, missing items (like fries or gravy), there is always a problem. When this happens, the store seems genuinely confused about how to handle it. Not even an apology is offered up front, just “can you come back”. Going back means someone ends up eating cold food. I had to ask if I can come another time, but also had to pick the day, which I don’t understand. At the end of the conversation the person I spoke to said “yeah, sorry about that”. For context, we ordered 3 burger combos online and all three had a mistake, plus one of the fries we ordered was missing. I didn’t bother mentioning the other mistakes because it was clear there was no remedy. This happens every time.
**edit I was invited to contact them about my experience, which I did, quoting the reference number they provided. It’s been a week and I haven’t received a response. Basically customer service is...
