The Burger Bros (BLOOR) — Restaurant in Toronto

What can I say…there are some very good things and some not very good. We have only been to the Bloor location . On the good side the food is fresh and very tasty and the people are very nice. The not so good…they rush their orders because they’re busy. We have taken the time to have the order read back and yet the order is wrong. Another time we do the same…explain there were errors before…please make this one right. Again orders are wrong. To their credit they replaced the burgers but by then we had lost our appetite. They also don’t understand the concept of a lettuce wrapped burger…it shouldn’t just be lettuce on top of the meat. Don’t offer this if you’re not going to do it properly So as much as we love the food we have many other options without the stress. Food should be enjoyed not endured

UPDATE * I was appreciative of The Burger Bros reaching out after my 2 star review. I emailed them within a couple of days and have not heard back at all. Feel like their response was posted to make them look good but empty words. I have now reduced my review to 1 star and will never recommend this...

Ordered The Bro x2 with add-on of crispy fried onions plus a large side of fries.

The burger patty was cooked and seasoned well, the bread was nice, seemed to be a sweeter brioche type bun. The bro sauce just tasted like mayo mixed with ketchup - there was no tangy bite to it, no sweetness, no spice, no saltiness - just oily greasy sauce. Overall, the burger was nice despite the sauce.

The fries were the worst part. They were soggy upon delivery (no techniques applied to mitigate the build up of steam in the box) and the worst part was that they tasted like old fried shrimp. It put me off the fries completely and rendered them inedible. This was alarming for multiple reasons, foremost being that I used to have a severe shellfish allergy and anyone ordering would not think to ask if this was shellfish free because they're potato fries. Very disappointing. I would not order fries from here again. Also, please clean your fryer and replace the oil. That's really gross.

TL;DR: Overall, it's a 2.5/5 stars but I'm not able to do half points. Order the burgers, they're nice. Skip any sides,...

Absolute worst customer service you'll ever get in Toronto. I called to place an order but no one answered. I looked at the menu online and I saw they had a buy one get one free on the burger bro. When I tried to place my order, the discount wasn't applied, so I didn't go through with he ordered and opted to way and call back. When I called back, they told me to do it online instead of just taking my order. I told them that the discount is not applied at check out, they told me to just do it and that it would work. In good faith, I skeptically chose to trust the man. I went through with the order, still no discount. I called back and told him the discount wasn't applied. He told me to call door dash. I told him that I was calling him to fix the issue because he's the restaurant and he's the one getting paid. He refused to help me and insisted I contact door dash. I notice at the end of the order, there was a help button. It was absolutely useless as it just lead me back to calling the store! Absolutely ridiculous and useless. So misleading. Never ordering this...
