We arrived at this small authentic Korean restaurant just after 8 on a Saturday evening. There was only one other couple there and the restaurant next door seemed much busier, so we felt hesitant at first. But eventually we decided to walk in and grab a table.

We quickly found out that this was a family run operation with the daughter of the owners greeting us. She would be both our hostess and our server for the evening. The Korean owners were both the chefs who prepared our meal.

This was no ordinary family run business as the service was polite, professional and prompt! The atmosphere was tranquil and the food was delicious and truly authentic. I had my first bowl of japchae ever. They also have some of the best green tea I have ever tasted. The tea had a floral sweetness too it that was unlike any I had tried previously and it is an in-house tea blend which was spectacular. I will go back in future is not for the tea alone!

Thank you for a great experience. Please also consider raising your prices as I would very much wish this restaurant and this family to thrive and get paid their worth for the quality that...

IT REALLY DOES HAVE ROLLS AND BOWLS!!!!!!! Located literally 100 steps from Lansdowne station (don't quote me on that), this is a true hidden gem! The menu consisted of sushi rolls and bibimbap, noodle or rice bowls. I had the katsu don ($20ish with tax and tip) and it was so drool worthy that you could fill an 8 oz water bottle with your saliva. The katsu was crispier than my skin has been this summer, and so tender too! It was served with the typical glossy brown katsu sauce as well as a bed of rice. Underneath the rice was some pan fried vegetables- I normally stay away from veggies like the black plague but I actually wanted more! A salad was also served at the beginning of the meal, free of charge. The owner was just lovely too. I love providing business to people who seem genuinely passionate and caring about their work. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because I think that although this restaurant felt very clean, the décor could use a bit of a makeover. Such a minor thing, and in the end I will come back for this...

If you're near Lansdowne Station in Toronto, don't miss this cozy gem right by the subway exit! The moment you walk in, the charming decor and warm ambiance instantly make you feel at home. It’s my spot whenever I’m feeling stressed or just need a comforting meal, and it never disappoints.

I’ve tried almost everything on the menu, and each dish is thoughtfully prepared and topped with their signature house-made sauces. My personal favorite is the Don Katsu crispy, tender, and bursting with flavor every single time. I was just there again today, and as always, it hit the spot.

The prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes, and the food is consistently satisfying. What makes this place even more special is the people who run it that they’re genuinely kind, welcoming, and always smiling. It truly feels like my “fourth place” outside of home and work.

If you're looking for a spot that combines great food, comforting vibes, and heartfelt service, this is it. A hidden gem in Toronto that’s absolutely worth...

Very “if you know, you know”. I’ve walked by this place countless times by Lansdowne station and I’m so glad my friend took me for lunch here today. Atmosphere is intimate and cute (everything is made by the owner Jamie and her staff—even the wooden shelves!). The food is like mom’s cooking, the portions are generous, and the prices are fair. I had the bulgogi bowl since they were sold out of Galbi (so you know it’s good). The real star for us was the Mulberry-ade! We also had sikhye which was really good and the fact that this is on the menu is pretty legit for us. Looked like they had lots of takeout regulars, but if you ever get a chance to dine-in..you should! Service was quick, super warm, and welcoming. Also, nothing against K-Pop, but it was refreshing to be in Korean spot that isn’t playing it 24/7–I only mention this because the playlist was an absolute vibe. We’ll be back :)

If you’re near Lansdowne Station, Leeko Restaurant is a must-visit. Their tteokbokki is a standout, with perfectly chewy rice cakes smothered in a spicy, flavorful sauce that has the right amount of heat and sweetness. Each bite is a delight, making it hard to resist finishing the whole plate. Their kimbap is equally impressive. Fresh, well-seasoned, and packed with a variety of ingredients, it’s a perfect representation of this classic Korean dish. The attention to detail and quality is evident in every bite. The tempura at Leeko is also exceptional. Light, crispy, and not overly greasy, the tempura showcases the ingredients’ natural flavors while adding a satisfying crunch. Leeko’s cozy ambiance and friendly staff enhance the dining experience, making it a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality Korean food. Don’t miss out on this gem near Lansdowne Station!
