April 16th I spent around $77 on Combo 3, which included the half & half chicken, corn cheese, and rice noodles. Unfortunately, I left feeling quite disappointed with both the quality of the food and the overall experience.
To begin with, the food took about 35 minutes to be prepared, even though the restaurant appeared fully staffed and wasn’t particularly busy. While I don’t mind waiting for freshly made food, I expected it to be worth the wait. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
The half & half chicken was very dry and incredibly chewy. It honestly tasted like it had been sitting out for a while, possibly even reused, as the texture and flavor were not what I’d expect from freshly prepared chicken. It made it really difficult to enjoy, and I ended up not finishing it.
The rice noodles were cooked well, but I was surprised to find that there were only about six actual noodles in the entire dish. The majority of it consisted of various meats, and there was no clear indication on the menu that pork was included. I had asked about the ingredients beforehand and was told it was mostly seafood-based with some rice cake, which is why I ordered it. I have a sensitivity to pork, so discovering it in the dish after the fact was both disappointing and concerning. I really wish that had been communicated more clearly.
The corn cheese was another letdown—it arrived cold, and the cheese on top was hard rather than melted, which made it unappetizing. It felt like it hadn’t been heated properly or had been sitting out too long before being served.
That said, I do want to mention a few positives. I really appreciated the packaging of the food—it came in a sturdy, well-designed box with a handle, which was convenient and showed a nice touch of attention to presentation. Additionally, most of the staff members were polite and welcoming, which I always value. However, when we tried to ask the cashier some questions about the menu, she seemed to ignore us. I’m not sure if there was a language barrier or miscommunication, but we eventually gave up trying to get clarification.
Given the price point of $77, I was expecting a higher level of quality and care, both in terms of food preparation and communication. Unfortunately, it just didn’t meet those expectations, and I ended up not eating most of the meal once I got home.
At this point, I’m honestly considering requesting a refund, as the experience didn’t reflect the value I paid for. I truly hope the restaurant takes this feedback into account and makes improvements, because there’s definitely potential here—but right now, it didn’t...
Read moreAfter going back to Korean fried Chicken after so many years we ordered half and half chicken large, it only comes in this size. We also ordered boneless spring onion chicken. All the chicken was great. Tasting, the flavors were really good. I was really impressed with the subtle flavors with the boneless spring chicken and the chiseling chicken. The spicy chicken tasted really good but it wasn't extremely spicy. Really like The rice cakes so chewy and fun to eat. Drinks are overpriced in my opinion, and they do not have proper beer. Only branded beer which is below average. It was a little bit more than mild. Their system to order is without the server. They have this machine at each table which will have all the options you can modify and order from there. The service part is a little bit lacking I would say but the person was decent enough because of their model. It's a service free model. The restaurant is not that big but it has deciding and the tables are pretty close. This is situated in a confusing plaza. Make sure to enter the right plaza or you will end up in the next plaza. The only thing I didn't like was there were two customers who were sitting there for a long time. Even after I paid their bill they were quite loud and they were just loitering. The staff took a long time and kicked them out of the restaurant. I believe that should have been kicked out after 5 to 10 minutes but they were sitting there for more than half an hour or I think 45 minutes which bothered me a little bit. The portions are really good on the large size, so I would suggest to order large first if there are multiple people and then order more if you feel like it. Would definitely go back. I...
Read moreI've been eating at this restaurant for years and I've order at least 15times. Generally the food has been pretty good. A couple mess up here and there, like the wrong food order, or missing white sauce etc. only realizing when I brought the food home. Nothing worth complaining about.
Yesterday however, (Sept 22, 2025) I preordered some take out over the phone. I got the half and half chicken) and was hoping to use the coupons that the fry provides, that i had accumulated over the years. The girl at the cash, Kelly, said that I could use them even though they were a mix of older ones and newer ones. But I guess what frustrates me is that she then tells me that I cant use them because the coupons are only for 1 flavour of chicken and Half and half is 2 flavours. She points to the menu showing me the single flavour items. Which are some how more expensive then the half and half. I ask her if she could make an expecting and ahe said no. I ask if she could get or call a manager. She said no. Though she repeatedly said sorry and appeared polite it seems like she was really had no intention of helping me. It was getting busy and I could tell she didnt want to help me, also I didnt want to hold up the other customers I paid for my food and left. Obviously I have no issues paying for my food but why out me through that hassle? Am I wrong for being frustrated with the service and lack of action? The food lacked sauce, but the chicken...
