I agree with all the other google reviewers that the weakest link with this place is service. We felt ignored and had to hunt for service. The reason they are getting 2 stars and not 1 was because of the server "Emily", who was not assigned to our section. Our waitress that was supposed to serve us did not give an ounce of service, except came to ask how everything was while we were eating our prime rib. We waited for a while, so I went to Emily to find out why no one came around, this was when she informed me that she was not serving our section. Initially the manager knew we were looking for a table but he did not care enough to tell us that they will look for a table. He was too busy guarding/handing out his oyster tickets. It was Emily that found us a table. Our waitress that was serving other tables around us, never came to introduce herself. She did not come with a menu nor wipe the dirty table, nor take our orders. She and the manager totally ignored us. I went to Emily because we waited long enough and then Emily said she will take our order. We asked the waitress, that was assigned to our table for oyster tickets that the "brown" manager was supposed to come around with. She pointed him out but said she was was "too busy" to ask the manager. She did not know what "busy" is. Again it was Emily that checked with that manager and by now they were already "out of" tickets! I understood that it was a busy night, but even if you are busy there is a way to give assurance without leaving the guests feel ignored. Overall, the only person we felt that cared about service was Emily. We will not come back anytime soon, even though the prime rib was decent, not when we had to look for service from the time we set foot there. I understand that a patio opening night can be busy, they may have understaffed it, but no excuse, as this event has been...

I went here for a patio lunch during the covid-19 pandemic. The location is great - downtown but feels far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It isn't as TTC friendly to get to and most patrons are people who work in the area, so it's comparatively quaint compared to more accessible downtown restos. They have a large patio that has a great view of the Keating Channel - there's even a small path to walk along the channel. The food is moderately priced and tasted ok. The lunch menu is very generous and diverse with much more options than I'd expect from a resto-pub. I got a quite dry/bland chicken sandwich, garlic bread which was far too cheesy (overwhelmed the actual bread flavour), standard fries, good calamari (yet overcooked), and an enjoyable market garden salad (recommended). Overall, while the location, spacious patio and views are great I found the...

I came in here with friends since it was his birthday. We had the chicken wings which comes with sauce to the side to our surprise, chicken wrap and curry poutine. It took a while to be prepared maybe because of the rush but the reason why I didn't like it was because the server serving us wasn't friendly and rather seemed to be bothered by us. Keep in mind if you order the honey garlic chicken wings, they give you the chicken wings and the honey garlic sauce (which taste only of honey) to the side unlike other places I have been. I did however enjoy the pool table which was only 2 dollars. NOTE: IF YOU WANT TO USE THE POOL TABLE HAVE 1 OR DOLLAR COINS SINCE YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO USE IT OTHERWISE. This place was really fun because of the pool table and the nice patio. Beware of some of...

If you're around Cherry Beach and feel like a cold pint, with delicious pub food without the downtown crowd and traffic. Staff are very friendly and helpful, lots of room to relax and enjoy the nice weather.

Always a fave place to visit for St Paddy's day: no line ups, not crowded, plenty of seats for a larger crowd, kid and baby friendly, room for strollers, tons of parking, free swag (hats, headbands, t shirts, Guiness on tap, green beer) clean, quick and friendly service, pool tables, lounge area and decent food that comes rather quickly. We'll be back again for our annual stress free St Paddy's day lunch. I had the chicken curry (minus the rice) decent flavour but I like my curry thicker and spicier. Husband had the roast beef dip and enjoyed it. His plate was cleaned off. Shared an onion soup, nice and cheesy, melted and gooey, good flavour without being too salty. Good flavour and was happy with the soup.
