Okay, so this was my 3rd time visiting here and unfortunately for the third time straight, the customer service is just about the wackest i've ever experience from a jerk spot in my lifetime thus far. As soon as you come in, no type of greeting and dead stares, & if you dare to say hello then they'll most likely ignore you as if you an opp or something..🤨 Try inquiring about their menu, then you'll most likey get vague answers that's not detailed in the slightest, then when finally finishing up my order, the waitress took about 5 minutes before actually informing the chef about it! (and keep in mind she was no type of busy, since she was just literally standing by the table in an apparent gaze 😳)
Ordered the Jerk Chicken/Ribs Combo which stated that it was 20.95$ on their apparently outdated menu, yet came up to 25.93$, gave the cashier 26$, and she unprofessionally didn't even offer my remaining nickel, and i didn't even bother to inquire about it but still it's the professionalism principles for me, which this shop highly lacks nowadays but according to their past reviews, they must've been better at years ago i'm guessing.
Then when i finally get the food, checked in the bag and there is no cutleries + napkins nor a proper receipt with my actual monetary transcript on it, it only showcased the name of the food and table [regardless of this being a takeout order]. 🤦♂️ Now finally for the food portion of this review since we got most of the negatives out the way, it's really a shame that this place is so anti-hospitable since when it comes to their food, it tastes really good. Similar to my momz homemade cooking even.
Rice was a decent amount while being just as grainy as i prefer with some gravy on it finally, since the first time i've ate here accompanied by the Jerk Pork, everything was super dry.
Cole Slaw was nice but too much liquid at the bottom of the bowl.
Ribs was hella tender while being fall of the bone with a good amount of bbq on it, but was under the intention that it would've had Jerk on it, but that wasn't the taste case...not a deal breaker regardless.
And finally the Jerk Chicken was the right color, lightly seasoned and mild. Would've preferred more Jerk in it preferably though, since their competitors in the area never lack in this area.
So finally, the overall verdict here is that I came in here feeling happy and then left feeling dead inside ☠⚰💀
Solely due to their customer service alone, so whoever is the current owner here seriously NEEDS to consider either strictly re-training their current staff or just hire a whole new inviting hospitable crew, since most of them look like they hate their lives, jobs and customers apparently lol
With my current favorite Jerk options here in the Queen\Gerrard area being Ocha's and Blessed Love, they're basically blowing The Rude Jerk out da water right now by not only actually having friendly customer service, but their food is more flavorful and less pricey too, so therefore i would heavily recommend | suggests those alternatives before resorting to...

Delivery of meals and drinks was slightly a bit slow. Food was very tasty and portion size adequate. prices are reasonable. Parking is definitely still scarce and parking lot was very tight(small), difficult to maneuver (drivers beware).
Will return.
(July 6, 2019 8pm ish) This visit was definitely not the best .. 2.5 stars. Bartender, (the taller female of the two females, serving the nightof), inexperienced and lacking customer skills, unable to handle pressure and surely showed in her lack of couth. She actually spoke with another patron about other guests aloud. I guess I must have angered her when albeit, (asked kindly) for a Whiskey Sour and told not so kindly, " we don't do that here". I began to wonder where here was. I thought I was in a restaurant in Canada with a full bar service. I was escorted to the bar with my wife by the a very gracious hostess. I waited patiently to be acknowledged and order my drink. After trying to order my drink of choice and my wife ordered a pina colada we were cast aside for insulting the barmaid with my drink of choice. I was not offered an alternative, but felt like a child being scorned as the new kid on the block.. if I owned or managed this restaurant, like I have many, I would have fired this employee on the spot. I was ignored and sent to the back of the line (so to speak), which I now had to wait for an additional 5 to 10 minutes before the shorter of the to females took my order. I asked my neighbor to my right what he was having and ordered the same. (Jamaican Mule). When the hostess called us for our seats, I believe I insulted the barmaid again when I asked for the bill only because the taller one at that time was the only one present behind the bar. Anyways the tone was set for the dinner experience. My server was also female and had only been there only 2 weeks. The restaurant was busy they had a large party of 20 or so being handled by another server. My server, sobered my tone by her politeness, professionalism and most of all not showing any frustration with the lack of help from supporting employees, management, hostess, etc, etc. ... She was a wonderful human being and a graceful server. She gets 5 stars. The hostess and the kitchen get 2.5, the washrooms need to be both renovated and kepted clean they are way too small. THE BAR, well needless to say, they get the goose egg. However, I will be back because I love the Real Jerk restaurant and I have been supporting their business from way back, Broadview and Queen. It's a good thing it wasn't my first visit. Ohh, btw, the first time I was introduced and consumed my first Whiskey Sour, was in The beautiful...
Read moreWe have dined in this restaurant before COVID on multiple occasions and we never had a problem, we recently did a take out order because they were only open patio and when we took the food home, it wasn't the same but we gave them another try.
We went in and did dine in inside, it wasn't' busy, there was not more then 3 tables occupied outside and 3 inside. We waited for 5 mins to be seated because there was no on in the front and when someone did came they we conversating with another employee close to the kitchen. We eventually got seated and our waitress soon after came, we already knew what we wanted to order so we did. We asked for 2 patties and she stated they didn't have any ready it would take at least 20 mins, we were okay with that, we asked her to bring it once it is ready. We continued ordering our main's. We ordered a 1/4 jerk chicken and curry goat. We waited and waited, 20 mins passed and we didn't get any food, not the main or patties. When the waitress came around she stated our food was being plated and gave us more water, after that we waited another 25 mins. At this point we were feed up, hungry and all we had was water. I did notice they were prioritizing the takeout section more, Ive seen multiple takeout bags being brought to the front and no one in the dinning room was being served any food. At one point they were so disorganized and confused a table left after they paid for their meals and the plates were left for 10 mins before someone decided to clean the table. They had to confirm with 3 different people if the customers were done and paid for so they can take the plates away and clean the table. When we were leaving i did let someone know we were leaving and the look on his face showed us this wasn't the first time this has happened and the kitchen is not working up to par. They also need to renovate their furniture, the table we were sitting at was not even. It kept tipping over to the side. It is such a disappointment that there is no more care in the...
