Thien Tam is outstanding. This place is going on the regular rotation. Plant-based, vegetarian, and vegan dishes. Thai and Vetnamese flavors. I had the drunken noodles with no egg and fried oyster mushrooms. Super fresh, well prepared, good portions for sharing. The oyster mush is a must try. Massive whole mushrooms evenly, not heavily, battered. I ordered pickup, and I was worried they might not maintain the crisp, but they were perfect. Served with chili sweet dipping sauce. Drunken noodles hit the spot. Was skeptical about the vegan shrimp as I've never tried it, and how good can a vegan shrimp be right? and debated skipping it, but I'm glad i didn't. Vegan shrimp is a pretty, pretty good imitation of the real thing! Texture is very similar to real shrimp and had grill marks. Taste was pleasant. Try it! If you order directly on their website, there's some pick-up promos. I'm definitely going back and ordering again. Highly recommend. Thanks, TT!

What a lovely treat to have a Vietnamese & Thai veg restaurant in the GTA. The menu is vegan/vegetarian, so, if you are strictly vegan, make sure to inform the wait staff, so you don’t end up with egg in your food. They also offer some Japanese dishes. It’s nice that they offer vegan versions of common Viet street food that travel vloggers feature on YouTube. Most dishes were tasty, and served fresh. I found a couple of dishes very oily, but that could be personal preference, if the dish is meant to be that way. The ambience in the restaurant was pleasant. Service was friendly and prompt. Overall, we had a nice experience each time we visited, except for the last time. One suggestion to the owner: Please make all kitchen staff use a hairnet or some kind of head cover because it was very unpleasant to find a long strand of grey/golden hair in our take-out fried rice dish. Very off putting.

What a wonderful experience, my girlfriend and I went here for a late lunch/early dinner. The place felt like a classical Asian restaurant with an older style. Hieu (pronounced like star Hugh Jackman) was an incredible server, very upbeat and positive and endlessly helpful. We order vietnamese iced coffee which tasted lovely but a bit bitter, coconut water which came in bottle, Banh Xeo, and fried oyster mushrooms. The Bún bò Huế was flavorful and enjoyable with decent vegan meat, The Banh Xeo was incredibly fresh and had a perfectly cooked crepe and vegan meat that made every bite enjoyable, The fried oyster mushrooms were lightly crunchy with a thin batter but not too oily and were perfectly done. That plus the sauce made them really enjoyable through the whole meal!

Just recently discovered this restaurant and was thrilled to have another vegan option in the city. As soon as I walked in, I loved the place for the plants, waterfall and decor. I have now been several times and it has never been loud or busy. Service has been great, fast and friendly. I have adored trying very new foods to me.

I am a bit confused and upset though, as a week ago I ordered the Thai iced tea and confirmed it was vegan. Ordered the drink yesterday and yet today felt nauseous, looked at both the bill, online menu and phoned them and apparently the drink is a "D2 Thai Milk Tea" which is not what I read on their physical menu as I would never order a milk drink. For anyone with dietary intolerances, restrictions, allergies or who choose to not consume animals or products such as milk from an animal, the onus is always on them to confirm at a restaurant what they are eating/drinking. So it is on me for not confirming my drink was vegan (even though it would have been the second time doing so) but if what it states on the physical menu actually does differ from their online menu/receipt then that is misleading. So if you are vegan and eat here... I highly recommend it, just be incredibly vigilant that every item you are ordering is truly vegan (and beware of the iced tea). This is why fully vegan establishments are gold. Vegetarianism still supports the very cruel industry of factory farming and abuse of animals so is not ideal but I do appreciate the reduction in a the chance of accidentally consuming their flesh in a vegetarian/vegan restaurant. If anyone can prove me wrong that their iced tea exists, is vegan, there are inconsistencies in the menus or the "condensed milk" is actually...

After our artist of the family had his 'closing gathering' we headed to the Junction for food. It was 930-ish. One restaurant closed at 10pm didnt want to take us five guests. So we saw Thien Tam and asked them if they would take us at this late time. They were very welcoming, assured us they would be happy to serve us, knowing they would stay late for us. Hieu, a Thai man born in Vietnam was our server. He could not have been nicer. We all asked him for recommendations and he was patient and helped us choose just the right thing. I had the Green Curry, with a kick for sure. It was delicious and came with a side of Jasmine rice. Everyone loved their food. We had the Spring rolls, Mango salad. One of us had the Golden curry, another tried the Vietnamese pancake for the first time. What a huge and bountiful dish. He ate all of it. Another had the Cashew Nut tofu and another had the Pad Thai. The plates were served on pretty dishes. Loads of fresh vegetables, flavored really well. So good. We had lots of leftovers which Hieu insisted on packing up for us, keeping the rice etc separate. The place is gorgeous with brass statues and beautiful decor. Lots of room with tables and booths. The nicest people with delicious food, at an affordable price, served with elegance and down home hospitality. Thank you Thein Tam, and and...

I don't understand why anybody would say the servings are enormous! It's actually the OPPOSITE!!!!!! We ordered, their vermicelli with spring roll, vitamese crepe and Bun Bo Hue. The vermicelli was borderline acceptable serving but the fish sauce is so salty. I don't know what they use to make it vegetarian....I'm guessing MSG cause I left super thirsty for the next few hours. My mouth felt pastie and I needed to constantly drink water. The vitnamese crepes should be eaten as a wrap but they only provided us with 2 small pieces of lettuce. The worst was the Bun Bo Hue. Although the flavour was good, explain to me how anybody, not even a 2yrs old can get full off of 20 strands of noodle! If you're charging 16.95 for this dish, you should give a decent amount of noodle Will definitely not be coming back. Customer service was not great. Never came by to check up on us and when we did call them over, they took forever to come. Not to mention the whole place was empty except for 1 other...
