This is my local Tim Hortons, but if I ever want to get something from this brand I simply take the 41 North to the one in the Keele plaza that has a Pizza Hut and Beauty Supply. Even if this place offered free brewed coffees or boston cream, I would not be enticed to spend a cent here. Let's just go over the horrendous features at this location:
-Very dirty, high-contact facility---no working automatic button to open the door, despite the burden to disabled customers who have persistently pointed out the issue. Furthermore, the shopfront and inside is always teeming with drifters who make no effort to hide their lack of personal hygiene---as a consequence, touching any surfaces belonging to the store becomes repulsive to any self-respecting customer. I personally carried a disposable napkin whenever I went to this store, EW.
-Administration obviously cares little about the performance or quality of this location---I won't detail the workers' subpar customer service because I know from experience that working at franchised cafes can be a hectic job, but the trainers here clearly didn't care about teaching basic duties that should be expected at a high-traffic food place. The place remains unclean (nobody is assigned the responsibility of maintaining the counter, dining area, amenity station), practically any order is bound to give you a stomach-ache, and the ice machine that is responsible for one of Tim Horton's most popular cold drinks (that is also the most frequent coupon in the app???) has been unavailable for over a month.
-Food is NOT FRESH; quality is really poor, stale, and cold, and I know baked goods for example are left out in the display case, something which they can't help, but there is clearly some protocol about switching out the pastries (every 2 hours maximum) that they are not following. Their pumpkin spice muffin tasted like soured milk with cornstarch in a grainy bread, BLEGH.
Even if nothing can be done about the shady people that roam their area of the plaza, they can surely take the effort to act to the standard that is seen in Tim Hortons elsewhere. The prices are the same, and the wait times are even longer here, so what's the excuse?
Dine-in, Delivery, etc:
You can order ahead through the app, but the options are not up to date with what they have. Delivery (thankfully) is usually forwarded to other locations.
No dine-in options available, unless you're fine with dirty seating and...
Read moreSo Tim Hortons has totally lost its value and respect for customers. I'm disgusted with the behavior and this location. Tim Hortons is definitely rolling in his grave with how disgusting the employees behavior are and how much disrespect they have for their customers and they no longer have standards with their service/food. They lie about what they have and talk in their language while it is clear that I do not speak their language(in a Canadian company does not require you to speak any other language but English). While you're in Canada, English is the first language here, and that should be represented here!!!! I don't understand why two Indian girls are speaking their language when it comes to me. One girl lie to me three times and when the other Indian girl came out with a box that the first Indian girl said they did not have, they decided to speak in their language. I don't understand what they're both saying it is highly offensive. The Filipino manager is coming out and listening to what I am saying is 3rd Indian girl then proceeds out of the corner and starts talking as if she has any idea what just happened. So now you have three Indian girls talking at me not to me. Does not require you to talk Punjabi or any other language so I'm not sure why these girls are all talking in their language while I am standing there discussing ME!!!! HIGHLY OFFENSIVE , HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL, HIGHLY DISRESPECTFUL #BRINGBACKGOODSERVICE *If I was in an Indian restaurant I would understand why they are speaking...
Read moreThis place is so ghetto. I always see a druggie outside this location. Always busy, always a huge line up just to place your order. Don't even think about coming here during the lunch rush. The staff is so slow and it takes them forever just to finish orders. But this is not what is making me leave only one-star review. They use to serve everything that is listed on the Tim Horton's website. This includes every Friday, they would have French Onion soup - which in my opinion is the only edible soup Timmies has to offer. Anyways, they suddenly just stopped making French Onion Soup. I asked them why and they just respond "no one made the soup today". Based on this information, I am led to believe that they have the ingredients to make the Bistro French Onion Soup, but someone just decided not to make it? Well, I tried again the next Friday, and the Friday after that, and after that and nope! No French Onion soup! So now, I drive all the way north on Keele to the other Tim Hortons so I can get my French Onion Soup. Head office needs to have a talk with the...
