I go to Tim Hortons regularly, and I’ve never had an experience like the one I had this morning. I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding an incident that took place at this location this morning.
As a dedicated customer and educator, I have a morning routine of purchasing a large coffee and bagel from a Tim Hortons location before heading to work. On this particular morning, as I was in the drive-thru, a staff member inadvertently knocked my coffee off the counter, causing it to spill into my car and onto my person. Not only was the beverage scalding hot, leading to great discomfort, but my clothes, necessary for my profession, were stained and compromised.
What has left a lasting impression, however, is not the accident itself (which can happen to anyone) but the subsequent response from the staff member. Despite my immediate and evident distress, she did not offer any assistance, neglected and ignored my repeated requests for paper towels, and rather pretended nothing happened and insistently asked for a method of payment. Further complicating matters, our communication was hindered as she had difficulty understanding me. It seemed more important that she complete the transaction than to help clean up the mess she caused on me and my car.
I had to promptly leave without resolving the issue, as I had a class waiting for me, but the incident has left me questioning the reliability and customer focus of a brand I had come to trust. When I got to work, I took pictures of the coffee streaks...
Read moreMost of the time when I ask for four sugar four milk in my steep tea they give me four sugar four cream... every time they do that to me I take a sip of my tea and it tastes like there's a stick of butter in it. And it's not just me either they have a really hard time with getting the orders right the first time. And this is just me...
On top of that just yesterday my boyfriend and his brother walked in there having their own casual conversation and one of the staff tried to jump in saying what the heck is their problem and such. She tried to getting all upset at them for no reason and threatening to call the police for an issue she started. They were honestly scared to go back in there this morning to get my hot chocolate because they didn't want that lady to try and start with them again like she did yesterday, yet she was the one that served them again this morning and acted like nothing ever happened. No apology or anything...
When they walk into a Tim Hortons to get drinks they shouldn't have to worry about staff jumping down they're throats and causing issues about a conversation that they're not even included or involved in, doesn't matter if the staff is in a bitchy mood or not. Do I now have to think twice before I go in there and bring my family with...
Read moreOn a cold evening we walked in to this Tim Horton to get a French Vanilla and a Croissant. While ordering my husband asked for a French vanilla with half coffee and I interrupted him and said I just want French Vanilla and no coffee. My husband apologized and said sorry to the person taking our order. He stopped and asked us if we just wanted French Vanilla and I said yes. When the order was given to us it was still a French Vanilla with coffee mixed. We asked the person who attended is and he said that we ordered a FV with coffee. I insisted that we did not. This person was so rude he continued working on whatever he was doing standing away from us and there was a machine buzzing. We raised our voices so thay he could hear us because he did not bother to even come near the counter and talk to us. We thought it was difficult to hear. And he told us that we did not have to shout at him. We were so overwhelmed and surprised by this person's attitude. He was not ready to accept that the order he gave us was wrong. This behavior is something I have never experienced in a Tim Horton. We left the beverage there and asked them to dump it. Did not take any replacement from them. Very disappointed with the...
