Today, I visited this Tim Hortons at Seneca, and let me tell you I AM NOT IMPRESSED.
First, I asked if they had farmers wraps, they said “no we don’t have any.”
Then, I said oh ok, and the guy EDGAR, asked me if I would like a recommendation, and I said sure, but I am not sure if it was me who didn’t hear him, because I have earwax built up in my ears so my hearing is a bit muddled when people talk to me, or if it was him that didn’t hear me, so I said I would like a classic BELT bagel, and I guess my order got lost in translation, because I was waiting for over 15 minutes, and they misunderstood my order, so I kept asking the workers when my order was going to be ready, because I was running out of time, and I had to go back to class really soon. I ended up getting a different bagel, and it HAD PROCESSED CHEESE WHICH I DID NOT WANT, and the sausage was so SPICY. I didn’t like it what so ever. My stomach was even hurting, because of the different bagel. 🤮😷🥵
On top of that, I wanted to pay with a Tim Hortons giftcard, and EDGAR said “oh no, we don’t accept the Tim Hortons giftcards here”, I replied “really? This is very frustrating”, because I should be able to use a giftcard to buy my lunch, and not have to pay with my debit card all the time.
EDGAR’s answer to me, was “I just work here”, and I know it’s not his fault, but Tim Hortons at Seneca should really change their policy, and let customers pay with either Cash or a gift card, because not every single student has a debit card.
If you can, avoid this location, please. I’ll be taking my business to the Tim Hortons in the DB building, as I wasn’t very happy with the service that I received today, and I WONT BE BACK AT THIS LOCATION...
Read moreCame in the evening had an awful experience their staff don’t know what’s in the menu, staff loves to argue and stand on the customer chest to prove their ego and point that customer is wrong and rest everyone is right. 2 Indian girls in evening tried to take my order without knowledge of any menu. They forgot our order when placing an order the Indian lady didn’t tell me the cheese croissant is out of order. When i came back to ask hey what happened she we don’t have it sir like it was my problem, I questioned her that why did you not inform when placing an order. They called an Indian supervisor guy with specs they guy said, “What can I do about it sir? She’s just a trainee i could call her to say just sorry to you.” I told him dude as a supervisor you should be offering service recovery options as a customer service representative and a man in uniform representing a big brand like Tim Hortons. They have 0 knowledge how to talk to customers. Also when order the lady shouted we don’t have chicken in stock you have to wait 10 mins, self advised her to at least make the payment i can wait. After paying in 2 mins it appeared like magic the Indian lady with a messy bun doesn’t even qualify to lie properly to a guest in a manner not offending their ego. You may contact me for any further explanation happy to make the place back it on shape with TRAINED & POLITE staff.
I urge the owner to take a look in to staffing and recruiting who can help upsell their business and not downgrading it by making a bigger hole to his/her pocket. Training is essential and, with lack of product knowledge you lost a loyal customer to some juveniles working creating a negative work...
Read moreDear Tim Hortons Management,
I visited your location on November 15th at around 3:00 PM with a friend, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I’ve come to expect. While I understand that some occasional mistakes can happen, I was very disappointed by both the quality of the product and the behavior of the staff.
To begin, I ordered two Ice Caps, but the drinks we received were not prepared as they usually are. I politely approached the manager to inform him of the issue. Unfortunately, he responded in a dismissive and rude manner. I was then given a replacement drink, which was of even lower quality than the first. When I expressed my frustration, he slammed the drink on the table without offering a straw or acknowledging my concerns.
In addition, I ordered a sandwich with extra mayo, but the cashier mistakenly rang up extra chipotle. I confirmed that I wanted mayo, but when my sandwich arrived, it was drenched in chipotle sauce, which I specifically did not request.
As someone who has worked in the service industry for several years, I understand how important it is to remain professional and courteous to customers, especially when they are respectful and understanding. The manager’s behavior in this instance was unprofessional, and it negatively impacted...
