I've always had great experiences here. It's one of my favorite billiards places in the city. The tables are good quality and in good shape, the drinks are flowing... and there's pub food if you're hungry.
Even if I'm the only person in the whole place (when I visit at weird times) they are still very attentive and accommodating. I never really knew they had any kind of loyalty program. Granted, I've only been there about 25 times spread out over the years... but I would've loved to get in on that. (Update: the loyalty program is a card system wherein after you've occupied a table for a total of 9 hours, you then receive 1 hour of free table time.) It's kinda like the cards at a Subway sandwich shop.
On another note, there is a clique of older Greek gentlemen who sometimes enjoy playing on the snooker tables. (Keep in mind this is in the heart of "Greek-town" and they mostly speak Greek.) Sometimes they utter funny things when they shoot such as "Banana". As far as I can tell, they mostly stick to the 8-ball racking but in fact they seem to enjoy a game known as 'Poker Pool' involving a deck of cards. They are also pretty great shooters.
I've met some great and fun people here and also brought people here without a second thought because I knew we would all have a great time. I just wish I lived closer so I could give this place...

Pro's: New carpet, place looks clean and well located.
Con's: Food was poorly prepared (images in Google) . Wings were cold and nachos were sparse on toppings and came with almost no cheese. The pulled pork on it wasn't fresh and came dry and chewy. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if I'm ill tomorrow. Staff was just one lady, not very helpful and more interested her friends than serving us, she had a take it or leave it attitude.
It's Sunday night, and the place is dead. Not sure if it's any busier on Friday or Saturday, but I can't imagine they sell much food on any day.
I read the reviews before arranging to visit with 5 friends. I found the FIVE STAR reviews on here to be misleading, perhaps even biased reviews. Certainly not a reflection of our experience.
We spent almost $200 in about 2 hours, and even left a tip, but unfortunately I don't see us coming again at this point, as none of us felt it was worth what we paid.
Our search for a nice Sunday night pool hall in the east end...
Read moreArrived and the guy told us we were second in line for a pool table. An hour later, after we notice several people have gotten tables ahead of us (including several people who arrived after us) we asked him why he hadn't given us a table yet. He lied and said he never told us we were close to the front of the queue, when everyone in our group heard him say that. Screwing up the order of the table assignments is one thing, but lying about it to our faces is another. Left after we finished our drinks and didn't play any pool.
Music was also ridiculously loud and made it hard to have a conversation at all. It's a billiards hall not a night club.
Service in general was slow and not very helpful when we voiced our concerns about not getting a table.
Will not...
