I am used to the What a bagel downtown, so I don’t know if it’s because this location has awful quality or if the service overall has gone down. I ordered a salad, it came in this tiny little plastic box, the lettuce was soggy and stale, the whole salad was soggy, the chicken tasted GROSS and very gamey. When you order the salad they don’t even give you A PIECE OF BREAD or NOTHING. Then I ordered some egg salad for 8 bucks which was really good but they don’t even fill the container for some eggs and mayo for 8 bucks. I ordered through Uber eats so I know the prices are even more inflated but the quality of salad was gross regardless of the price. Overall love this place, even pre-covid. The bagels are always fresh and tasty, especially whenever I order the chicken salad with cream cheese. The only thing I will say are that sometimes their chocolate rougalaches can be dry and their pastries can be on the drier side. I also notice that sometimes there's flies and I do notice they go on the food. Their pastries are out in the open and not actually wrapped or covered. Consistently good bread and bagels Expensive but worth it. Sandwiches are limited to egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad and lox and cream cheese. Sandwiches are on your choice of bagel and are stuffed totally with fresh vegetables and the filling of your choice. Salads are also available again portions are large. During normal times they have limited number of tables for eating inside otherwise it's all take out. The coffee is great.
