Came here on a Tuesday night around 7:30 for their $12 wing deal, expecting a decent midweek bite. Instead, what I got was one of the slowest dining experiences in recent memory.
The restaurant was 80% empty, yet there was only one waitress handling everything. It took 15 minutes just to get our menus, and we didnât receive our food until 8:40âa full 40 minutes after ordering. For a place specializing in wings, thatâs a painfully long wait.
When the food finally arrived, the biggest issue wasnât the waitâit was that one of my boneless chicken pieces was RAW. They offered to remake it, which I accepted, but it never came. When I followed up, the waitress claimed I had refused it and asked for it to be voided, which was completely untrue. At that point, my friends had already finished eating, and I wasnât about to sit there for another 40 minutes waiting.
Service throughout the meal was inconsistent at best. My fountain drink sat empty the entire time, with no refills offered. The waitress spent a lot of time hanging out by the barâwhich, sure, I get, since she was handling everything alone. But once in a while, at least check if the tables need anything!
And while the $12 wings sound like a deal, youâre required to purchase a drinkâso really, itâs an $18 wing deal. Just be upfront about the actual price instead of playing games with the menu.
Between the painfully slow service, raw chicken, miscommunication, and lack of attentiveness, thereâs little reason to return.
To be fair, I once had raw chicken sashimi in Miyazakiâbut at least there, it was intentional. If theyâre going to serve raw chicken, they should really charge more since...
Read moreWe walked in during the Jays finals when the place was packed and asked if there was any way we could be accommodated. The manager kindly said he could bring out some extra chairs and seat us near the corner of the bar â we agreed.
Partway through the game, one of the chairs broke, and one of our group members fell. The manager looked at us, smiled, took the broken chair away, and walked off â without a single apology or concern. When he returned to take our order, I asked politely if we could have another chair. To our shock, he told us we needed to pay $150 for the broken chair and leave the restaurant.
We were completely taken aback, especially as we had been respectful and cooperative the entire time. Even other patrons commented that the situation was absurd.
This was an incredibly disappointing and unprofessional experience. We will be following up with the restaurant regarding this unacceptable behaviour.
This place is 5 minutes from our house and have always noticed itâs empty. Now I know why this is the case.
If you value your life, back, and dignity do not go...
Read moreWe visited the wild wings on Passmore Avenue during a Jays game. The restaurant was extremely busy by the end of it. It was packed. People were even standing watching the game. Our server Mera was great. She ran the restaurant, bar serving, taking orders and bringing out food all on her own. I think this is extremely unfair to her and to the patrons that have to wait no fault of hers of course. There should be more people scheduled on a night where there is a major game going on and especially in such a large restaurant she was handling the whole restaurant and the bar all on her own. Therefore it took us forever to get our food, but she did the best she could with the circumstances that she was given. If I was sure I wouldâve walked out No one should be forced to work under those conditions. Note to the owner hold onto her tight, but please try to run your business in a better manner and more fair to...
