Wimpy's Diner — Restaurant in Toronto

Congratulations! You’ve discovered the original Wimpy’s! It might not be the biggest location, but it’s by far the BEST! The staff are friendly, and dedicated to giving you the greatest Wimpy’s experience. Nice hometown, 50’s diner’s feel. The atmosphere is super authentic, as well as the collectors’ memorabilia on the walls and ceiling. Whether you’re already a Wimpy’s fan, or if this is your first time at a Wimpy’s, you’re going to love it so much, you might not want to leave! I quickly became a regular, after discovering this place, and you probably will too! Enjoy!

UPDATE: I am soooooo looking forward to being able to dine in here again! I have missed the staff and other regulars so badly! There are many elderly wimpys customers so I’ve just completely stayed away, to keep them safe. But every week that goes by, I get just a bit sadder. I miss my wimpys so bad! If you're in Scarborough, specially south and looking for the best breakfast place, this Wimpy's is all you want. right at the corner of a busy intersection and even busier inside. It's also a burger joint for your evening sports sessions with lots of TV screens around. I went there for breakfast and the news was playing with really good ambience. The Waitress was really welcoming but the food was beyond anything I could imagine. I grabbed the early bird pancake deal which is probably the best thing you can have there. I ate the whole thing in 3 days the quantity was just so much. The pancake was the best I have had so far in most Breakfast joints. The ham and eggs were perfectly cooked. The potatoes were the best fries I have tried so far as well. Definitely going there again for any breakfast experience. The wifi is not for the customers but everything was tiptop and clean and cozy. I took ketchup and hot sauce but the food was too good for me to ruin with...

Money's worth. However, the servers don't mention the price attached with the add-ons. For example, I asked for Turkey bacon with my omelette. The server asked me whether I wanted it on the side or chopped up. I wanted it on the side. When I saw the bill, they charged me more than what was on the menu. That was because they charged me for it as a side not a topping, so I had to pay double the price. The quantity was still good and I had no problem paying because it was money's worth. But the server should have mentioned that on the side would be double the cost. Also, we were offered hot sauce, ketchup and chipotle sauce. We picked ketchup and chipotle. When the bill came, they had charged us for the chipotle sauce. Really Wimpys? You charged us for chipotle sauce? The server never mentioned there was extra charge.
