I'm really hopeful for this business. It's new so I don't want to judge too hard. Today I had food as soon as they opened. 0 customers so there was no excuse for the level of service I received. The service and staff were 10+. Super kind, very attentive perfect. I ordered a tap water, the enchiladas and one carne asada taco. I recently just made carne asade so I wanted to compare. The tortillas were fantastic. The carne asada was flavour less and very tough. I marinated mine with the juices and this was like round steak cut into cubes and cooked. I normally don't like cilantro but it's the only thing that added flavour. There's work to be done in that department. I should not be chewing super tough flavour less meat for a taco at $4.50 for a very very small taco. (id rather have a crappy taco bell taco to be honest) please marinate and work on this. The enchiladas were super good but I was the only customer and it was Luke warm at best but honestly cold. The rice was absolutely smashing. So good. The right temp and the flavour out of this world. I didn't want to bring up that my food was cold as this is new but honestly as a first customer there's no excuse. Flavour wise 10 out of 10. Portion size vs price is Def a let down. I don't expect crazy portions but they are very very small. If everything was a 10 out 10 I'd be more forgiving. I don't want to be a harsh critic, but recently making my own carne asada and having this be so bland I'm disappointed. I will return in the future to support local businesses. I hope you take this as positive feed back. I want this to succeed but I was pretty let down by my experience. Hoping it's...
Read more#1 Great service. Staff is friendly and helpful, willing to discuss what they like and always smiling. #2 Food is good. People in this part of the world think that tacos are in hard shells with hamburger cooked in "taco seasoning", lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheddar, and jarred salsa. That's not what you'll be getting here. I love that the corn tortillas are thin and tripled up. I love that there's no cheese of any kind. The cilantro/onion mix is very nice as is the spicy sauce. The pico is good as well. I'd love it if the meat was allowed to be cooked on a vertical spit like it's supposed to be. (Maybe that's not allowed here in Nova Scotia?) I agree with another reviewer in that the pork, beef and chicken could be more flavourful, but it's still enjoyable. I've been twice and will be...
Read moreAbsolutely incredible! I can honestly say this was the most amazing Mexican food I have ever had. Taco Land in Bridgewater delivers truly authentic flavors that taste like they came straight from the heart of Mexico. Every bite was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor — you can tell they put genuine care and passion into their cooking. The tortillas were soft and fresh, the fillings were perfectly balanced, and the spices hit just right without overpowering.
The staff were warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere made the whole experience even better. This isn’t just “good for the area” — this is destination-worthy Mexican food. If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out. I can’t wait to go back and try everything...
