Delicious Treats, Great Coffee, and Even Better Service!

We stopped at Jo-Ann’s in Mahone Bay on the recommendation of our amazing tour guide—and we’re so glad we listened!

This cozy café/deli is full of charm, just like the town itself. We came in for a dessert break and were blown away by the cheesecake—rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. The coffee was just as impressive—smooth, bold, and exactly what we needed to recharge for the rest of our day.

They also have a great selection of quality eats, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly—truly some of the nicest people we’ve encountered on our trip.

Stopped here while down along the south shore, was surprised at the amount of selection they had.. Everything from indian samosas to ice cream and sweets. We had samosas and ice cream and it was great. The staff were very nice and if I hadnt of just ate supper I would have loaded up on some more stuff.. Their sweets looked delicious. Prices were a bit high with a rice crispie square of a decent size was 5$ same with their nanaimo squares which looked delicious, just a bit pricey. Jo-Ann's is a cute little market style shop in Mahone Bay with a little of something for every appetite, especially those with a sweet tooth! I've had savory and sweet treats here, and by far the sweets are the standout. A friend professes that their pies are the best they've ever had! While I'm a little biased towards another source, all dessert lovers will find a place in their hearts for Jo-Ann's.
