Alimo's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Slave Lake

I can’t say enough good things about Alimo's Pizzeria! Hands down, they serve the best pizza I’ve ever had. Every bite is a flavor explosion—perfectly crispy crust, rich, tangy sauce, and toppings that are always fresh and generously piled on. Whether you’re a fan of classic Margherita or something more adventurous, their pizzas are consistently delicious and made with love. The service is just as impressive as the food. The staff is always super friendly, greeting you with genuine smiles and making you feel right at home. They’re incredibly helpful, whether it’s recommending a new pizza to try or accommodating special requests. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it makes every visit a joy. Having a function where you have to feed a hungry crowd? Alimo's is your answer. They have a pizza that satisfy every desire. It is a workplace favorite and excites everyone when they hear we are getting Alimo's!! Oh, and don’t skip the ice cream! It’s the perfect way to cap off your meal. Creamy, rich, and packed with flavor, it’s clear they put the same care into their desserts as they do their pizzas. Alimo's is a gem—fantastic food, top-notch service, and a cozy vibe that keeps our family coming back....

Anyway i haven't tried everything, but from what I've tasted its ok.

Pizza - 7.5/10 Most pizzas pretty good

Donair - 6/10 - seems better than before. Not enough business to cut fresh donair meat all the time though. Hitting them up for a later lunch or supper seems effective. Donair seems to be missing something though. They should rethink the sauce...probably go a long way. Some sort of homemade sauce would be delicious.

Wings - 2/10 - Wings were very dry. Not exactly sure what was wrong with them, but not very good. Possibly just cheap wings that have been in the freezer too long. ( haven't retried these..)

Deep fried pickles/mushrooms - 4/10 -retried these. I...

Alimo’s is our go to for family pizza nights and dinner when we don’t feel like cooking. Our favourites are the Greek and Donair pizzas. We’ve also tried the lasagnas, which were delicious! You really can’t go wrong with anything you order here. A bonus of supporting this business is that the owners have done so much to give back to the community. We love supporting local, and knowing that it’s going to compassionate, generous, community...
