I have mixed feelings about this dining experience.
The store bought fries and gravy were very good. The salt and pepper shrimp comes shell on, so after 5 mins of peeling a shrimp it has zero seasoning. The pot stickers were good but served with a very assaulting vinegar instead of the dark dumpling sauce I am used to. My husband had the butter chicken which was very nice (minus the borderline raw rice) My teenager had the Red wine salmon and the sauce was like eating a spoonful of straight mustard. I had the ginger steak bowl. This is were I am really torn. I've never actually told a server my food was disgusting before today. Crunchy rice, sour sauce, not even salt on the steak that tasted like a dirty cast iron pan. The service was not rude, but it was very lacking in the attention department. Whenever I visit Slave Lake TA’s is one of my...
Read moreThis was my very first experience here tonight. Being Valentine's day is always a rush on restaurants but the TLC and attention given by the owners & staff were above and beyond. I enjoyed the company of my friend and the owner made acquaintance with us during our meal. It was just as good as Southern hospitality but up North. The owner even helped his staff carry things out into their car and asked the one guest musician to call to let him know they got home ok. This place felt like home. I even watched the entire staff take time to sit together to have a meal together. It doesn't get any family oriented as this!! I will...
