Mary Brown's Chicken — Restaurant in Town of Sylvan Lake

In a world where finding the best chicken sandwich seems to be on every carnivores mind, Mary Browns missed the memo. The sandwich was made up of a very small - almost slider size bun, and the chicken itself - while tasty - was even smaller. Opening the bun showed a full breast - both sides - yet it didn't even reach the edges of the bun. Everyone in the fast food industry is trying to match the clear winner in this category- Popeyes - but all fall short, and Mary Browns version is the saddest of all. While Mary Browns chicken buckets etc. are good, I recommend you stay clear of their sandwiches. Not worth the money at all. I generally go out of my way to shop Canadian, but this sandwich is nothing short of embarrassing. Service was prompt and good. Located in a walmart, not so good unless you like...

Nov 5 Update on my review - the owner responded to my complaint and left their email for me to discuss things further and make it right. So I responded and sent an email to them with an attachment of my $76.00 dollar receipt. I asked them to make it right. Still no response from them.

Oct 30. I would like to add my voice to the list of people who complained about the quality of the fried chicken and the fact that it was refried chicken. Yes it was refried chicken that was already deep fried once probably the day before. I saw the girl take it out of the refrigerator and drop it in the oil. It was dried out, overcooked and stale. My first visit to Mary Brown's and it might be my last. I went up to the counter as the only person in the place - told the cashier it was my first time in. I had ordered just a Chicken burger to give it a try. She said it won't be long and into the back she went. My chicken burger was prepped and placed on the counter where I could see it. A skip driver showed up along with another person who ordered online for store pick up. While I waited for the other orders to be made - I watched my burger sit there and get cold as I got more and more frustrated.
