Must have been a bad night for staff at this Langley Popeyes. Start with using their app ordered a 2 person dinner deal, and 2 popcorn shrimp. Ordered spicey chicken, was told it would be minutes, never have a problem waiting for fresh chicken. Waiting seeing people come and go, ten minutes I thought it was ok to ask how my order is coming along. Wrong told it takes longer for spicey chicken. Okay, I now see the fellow go say something to the lady boxing the chicken orders, she looks and starts putting my order in the box, so it was sitting and was done, someone just forgot. I mention This. To the fellow, starts quickly putting the rest of the order in boxs with an additude. Leave thinking I should have spoken to the manager, but wanted to just get out and home. Well surprise I get my order unpacked. No dinner for 2, instead 5 piece of dried chicken, of the 2 sides a tray with 6 onion rings, second side not there at all, the 2 popcorn shrimp, where cold, and dried out, with alot of breaded crumbs, so obviously the last of a batch that was past its time. I did call the store and spoke to the manager, glad it wasn't the fellow with the additude, she agreed to replace the missing fries, and two popcorn shrimp, said the chicken was fresh, a total waste of time, I have never taken a picture of food before so see what you think. This is a piece of the fresh chicken, it was so dry, but seriously this is not what I've known Popeyes to be. Long winded, but a totally different experience then the Surrey location on 64th and 144, they actually take pride in the quality of food, and the customer. Dont laugh they call that chicken. Stay away from this location. Just a follow up. Popeyes did post a contact email. Email sent and NO Response, left contact information, no care for the customer at all.

Edit: Came here on The Great Onion Ring Adventure with my bf. We travelled to 5 different fast food restaurants to compare the onion rings and crown a champion. (Thanks to GMM and their onion ring comparison making us hungry) Popeyes onion rings are crispy, and at first they're bland but holy damn, the after effect is mouth burningly spicy (if you're not a spicy food eater like me.. then you're in for a ride) they came in 3rd (2nd if you ask my boyfriend) Original: My chicken burger was massive. Tons of breading, sandwich was hot & fresh. Pretty sure my spouse and I could have split the sandwich it was so big. I find the breading doesn't have any seasoning so compared to KFC, the KFC breading has lots of seasoning, but in every other way - Popeye's wins. The crunch, the moisture, the size, the bun, etc. Popcorn shrimp are always good, and also a bit spicy (for me but everything is spicy for me). The breading is very nice, even though they burn my mouth, I'll for sure order these again. All the staff were polite & helpful.

It's so exciting to have such an important historic figure run such an iconic franchise. While not seeing him personally, I can safely say my chicken was prepared by none other than Julius Caesar. This is because each chicken stip had enough salt in it to pay a roman legion for a year. Absolutely horrendous food. The chicken was drier than sunbaled sandpaper, and this constantly had me going back to my drink. To make matters worse, the chicken battwr wasn't really stuck on well, and kept falling off. Lastly, both my friend and I, who both ate here, had food poisoning the next day. If you want chicken, stick with KFC, this place is not worth the hype unless you like to punish your senses and your gut.

I came here for a late night takeout (March 24,2023) thinking that they are probably closed already by 10:30pm. But to my luck they are still open and some few people still came in for a chicken sandwiches. When it was turn in line, I asked the lady on the front for a 8 pcs chicken only but when she checked the back she told me they only have sandwiches to serve. I politely told her that it is fine and I will just come back tomorrow. She then asked me if I can wait for about 20 minutes and she will do my order of chickens, I gladly said yes and apologized for coming in late and near closing hours. My order of chicken came in really fresh and hot. The other lady who gave it to me was so kind and told me to be careful about it. She went way above and beyond by offering me some gravy and fries as well. I was caught in between being shy or might be rude if I refused the offer. I would like to say thank you so much to the hardworking people working that late night shift from the manager up to the staff at the kitchen area. To the owner/ management of this branch you are blessed to have these people working with you. I hope you take a good care of them in return. And by the way the chicken still taste great! Thank...

Popeyes has some of the best fast-food chicken around. This location is no different, I’ve been here a number of times already, tried both the sandwiches and the tenders. I enjoyed both very much. The only critique I have about the food is the packaging, it’s almost impossible to take the sandwich out without getting covered with sauce. Just by making it a little bigger would solve this issue.

Apart from the food, the bathroom is relatively clean, however, the handicap auto-opener is configured incorrectly. Whenever the door is pushed, the auto-opener engages. The problem with this is you have to wait for it to disengage before you can lock it. This functionality is only ever used on entry doors, and should not be used on a washroom.

I’d say, all other aspects of this establishment are what you would expect. The staff are respectful, but don’t go above and beyond. Tables are cleaned at a decent rate, but it depends on busyness. The dining area is about a 4/5 in cleanliness.

Overall 4/5. Food deserves a 5/5, but half a star deducted for the packaging, another half for the washroom issues. No stars were gained back during the experience as it was average.

Edit:

They’ve fixed the auto-opener... by...
