The service was terrible just like the food.

I went with my husband and baby and while we were getting her out of her buggy and layers of clothes and before we even sat down the server asked if we knew what we wanted to order. We hadn't even touched the menus yet, so no we didn't know! I then had to change her before we did anything else and while I was in the washroom with my baby the server came to ask if my husband was ready to order. He said he'd wait for me to get back but despite that she came again before I returned to the table!

When I got back to the table and settled in we had about 5 mins with the menu and was ready to order but could we get the server to come to our take table? Nope! After waving my hands like an eager student she finally came to take our order.

Husband got the chicken yakisoba and I got the tempura udon. The yakisoba had been burnt and the chicken was over cooked. My noodles were bland. Our tea cups sat empty for the duration of the meal and no one came to ask how our meal was. If they did they'd know it was terrible!

It’s so good that I came here twice in one day! I came at lunch and had the most amazing Bento Box A(sadly not pictured). It was so much food for $11! At dinner I returned with my boyfriend to try the rest of the menu. We had a Purple Rice Philly Roll, Gamigaze Roll, Red Dragon Roll, and Kappa Naruto Roll which was listed and presented as an appetizer, all pictured.

The restaurant is quite average in looks and size, but the quality food, and good service are what makes it 5 stars. It’s pricey, but in my honest opinion worth it for what you get. The Salmon is all Wild BC Sockeye. And the rice options are well put together. Also their menu is extremely descriptive and informative, very few spelling errors. The staff ladies are amazing and kind!

Definitely recommend if you’re looking for an upscale sushi restaurant with mid level prices.

Went out to dinner with my daughter and bf tonight and was fairly disappointed. Although the cooked food was ok the raw sushi was no good. My bf packed it up to bring home for his dog. I enjoyed my dinner but was disappointed in there service. We all had ordered a dinner box and me not being a big eater packed most of it "to go". We all packed out food to go, the servers seemed annoyed and scoffed me when I asked for take out containers. With the amount of food we had we were brought 3 of there smaller containers. Expecting us to smush it all into one container each. I'm not about to packed my tempura, with my salad, along with my teriyaki and California roll. I had to ask multiple times when it came to getting containers for my miso soup. I needed 2, both of which came all wet, indicating to me that they rinsed off used ones.
