I recently visited OPA for dinner and, unfortunately, had my worst experience yet. I ordered a lamb pita with no jalapeños and a side of rice. When my meal arrived, it contained jalapeños. Upon informing the staff, they told us to throw out both the pita and the rice and assured us they would make a new plate.
Following their instructions, we discarded the food. Shortly after, they handed me a new lamb pita and said, "Here you go." When my husband asked about the rice, they rudely responded that there was no problem with the rice, only with the pita. The dismissive attitude and lack of concern for the overall order were highly unprofessional.
Typically, our experiences at OPA are positive, thanks to a particular gentleman who always ensures everything is perfect. However, tonight was marred by the unprofessional behavior of the three girls working there. I am deeply disappointed and, regrettably, will not be returning.
And here’s the kicker the lamb pita they were supposed to replace. They ended up giving us chicken. Talk about lack of communication...
Read moreI went to this Opa location today and the food was excellent! I was shocked at the difference it was so much better than last time. I discovered it’s under new ownership and they keep their standards much higher. The meat was actually cooked properly and the fries were so crispy and fresh. I chatted with the owner who is also a pilot. He has good systems in place to make sure everything is done in a way to ensure the highest quality, just like in aviation. It was impressive to see timers being used instead of staff just guessing if the food was ready. They really care about the quality of their product and food safety. They even make sure the serving sizes are more and the little tzatziki containers are full to the top not just half. The new family that runs this location are so kind and friendly, they really want to make sure their customers are happy and return. I don’t normally do reviews but i really want to support this business as they deserve every success because the effort they went to today was above and beyond. The food was actually the...
Read moreFirst and last time I’ll ever be coming here. I adore the food from OPA and always go to the one in Willowbrook Mall but my husband wanted Taco Bell so I went here because it’s a few doors down. I ordered a veggie wrap for myself and rice for my daughter. I watched the lady put my pita on the grill RIGHT on top of the 10+ skewers of uncooked chicken. Not only that, but proceeded to flip my pita with the same tongs she used to flip the uncooked chicken. I asked her if the pita was touching the chicken and she said no, even though it clearly was. I asked her to make me another one and she questioned me as if I was being a nuisance. She still continued to flip it with the same tongs she was using for the meat. Whatever, okay. I get home and not only is my wrap falling apart but there’s a black hair in my daughters rice. I don’t know how to include pictures, but I did take one, because this was gross. I’m extremely disappointed, you definitely lost...
