Taco Del Mar — Restaurant in Township of Langley

One of the worst customer service I have ever experienced! Because if Covid we were happy to see that they have online ordering available through their website. When I went in to pick up our order which should be ready they have no idea what I was talking about. The guy there doesn't seem to know ppl can order online through their website and how to operate their own system. They scrambled to find our order and rush through everything. The topping options we choosed on their website were not even a thing in the restaurant. It was also a Monday that they have special offer for their burrito (a dollar less which I found out as I was leaving) and we had ordered two, when we order online the special offer did not came up. So we basically pay more that what we need to for the horrible customer service and meh food. Through this whole situation, there was no apologies given and no compensation offered.

The only thing that's worth mentioning about the food is that the protion was good. The fish was especially disappointing, it was just a piece of soggy and flavorless breaded white fish. It was our first time there, and we are never going back! (Langley smart...

Average pricing. Clean restaurant, terrible tacos. Ordered a fish and shrimp taco. Guacmole was an extra $1 per taco btw

Let me explain why these tacos were bad.

The taco was a double corn tortilla that was not even heated, it was cold to the touch and soaked in all of the overly large dallops of sauce.. Now trust me when I say this. I worked at a taqueria for 3 years. You should have bottles and drizzle the sauces. ( the pictures in the restaurant show this too) the taco had a large spoon full off sour cream, guac, and baja sauce. Pretty much, the taco brought the fish back to life because it was swimming my taco. The only flavours I could taste was corn tortilla and sour cream. On top of that, the textures were grainy tortilla, and a mushy fish. Because like i said. Too much sauce.

Pretty much I threw out 2/3 of my tacos

Go to Joeys Urban or Mucho Burrito if you want better...

Going to start out with I am a huge taco del mar fan and it is painful to leave a bad review for any of these places. My wife and I have tried this location twice now and both times we have been disappointed. First time we came here they didn't have any chips and cheese forget the name they use for it, that was disappointing because its so good. Second time here now and they are extremely cheap with toppings. I have been to lots of other locations and they don't cut down as much as location, when i asked for a normal amount I was told that would be extra. Spent 27 dollars on two meals and they cheap out on topping more than any other location. Ask for actual receipt that shows amounts on what I was charged and hands me just the debit one and walks away. Go to any other location and stay away...
