Sushi Avenue — Restaurant in Township of Langley

Very rude service on the phone. I ed and asked for a chicken teriyaki box and the lady asked if I would like dinner box a, b, or can. I said I didn't realize there were more than one and asked what was in them (as I was hoping to pick up supper on my way home from work and wasn't able to look at the menu while driving) she told me they were all described online - when I told her I was driving aND couldn't access and online menu right now she said "ok." Which didn't leave me much to work withard so I chose a box at random.

When I got the food home and started eating it is was astounded by how awful it was. We regularly get sushi and this was the worst BBQ eel I have ever tasted, the teriyaki chicken bowl was also terrible tasting. I can't say we will ever be going back here. Very disappointed in the service and quality...

Cute and clean sushi restaurant.

Everything we ordered was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The gomae salad was wonderful—perfectly balanced and delicious. The sushi rice was just right: well-seasoned and clearly made with care. All the fish was incredibly fresh, with clean, good sized cuts that really impressed me.

The service was just as memorable. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind—always making sure we had what we needed without ever feeling overbearing. Even small touches like tea refills were handled with such care.

Really looking forward to coming back. A great experience all around.🌟

Highly recommend giving this place a try if...

The staff here are warm and welcoming. They exude a sense of pride about working there which is refreshing compared to many other establishments. The prices are fair for the area and the portions are decent. The Ton Katsu (Breaded Pork Cutlet Meal) was a bit disappointing. It was dry and tough to eat. Typically there should be sauce that accompanies the dish that I can either dip the meat into or pour it on but they put it in for me and not in the amount that I prefer. The Mango roll was good as well as the California roll. The Bulgogi salad was drenched in dressing so again a bit off. All on all a good experience there and would recommend...
