Jack Saloon Trois-Rivières — Restaurant in Trois-Rivières

Stopped in on our way through Quebec on a road trip. We apologized for our poor French and the servers were very accommodating. However the service was so slow and inattentive. I ordered Mac and cheese, and my two friends ordered poutine. All three were listed under the side dishes section of the menu. We waited for about 45 minutes for our food before our server reappeared, not with our food but with our bills (for dishes we had not yet received). We told him so and he left, but we never saw that server again. We ended up flagging down a hostess and asked her to check on our food. It eventually arrived after an hour of waiting! My pasta was good, but the poutines were apparently bland and the gravy watery. By the time we had paid up and left we were over an hour behind our road trip schedule. Side dishes were not good enough to warrant an hour wait. I did not have crazy high expectations for a chain pub, but the standard of service was just not...

We came in for the lunch special but found the pricing didn’t match the value. While our waiter was friendly and attentive (even though one dish came out incorrectly), the rest of the experience fell short. My partner had the chicken burger, which was decent, but the side it came with was disappointing. I ordered a Moscow Mule and honestly wouldn’t recommend it — it was overwhelmed by a whole lime, which threw off the balance completely.

The worst part was the downstairs area — the odour was genuinely awful, and my partner nearly got sick from it. Really put a damper...

Avons été plus que déçu de ce restaurant. Premiers arrivés à l'ouverture à 16h. On prends place en terrasse. Les coupons rabais des Jack Saloon de Québec ne sont pas acceptés à Trois Rivières. Verres d'eau sans glace malgré une chaleur de plomb. Je choisi la salade Bangkok et demande à faire remplacer la laitue Iceberg par seulement de la roquette puisque je n'aime pas tant la Iceberg. Et quant à moi de la laitue Iceberg c'est BS et ça va dans les Big Mac chez Mcdo. Pas normal de retouver ça dans un restaurant comme celui-ci. On me dit qu'il y aura un extra. De combien ? 5 $ AYOYE. À ce prix là on a un emballage complet de roquette à l'épicerie. Un extra dissuasif exagéré pour fermer le clapet du client. On paie pas le 5$ c'est du vol. La salade arrive. Full Iceberg avec la pomme de laitue au complet en déco pour bien me narguer. Le goût était correct. La bavette sur le dessus trop cuite. Le service fût très très très très lent. On a demandé un gâteau fromage carotte comme dessert et on ne l'a jamais eu. Après plus de 20 min on s'est levés et on est entrés à l'intérieur pour payer. Le dessert on est allés le manger au café Morgane pis on l'a eu en 30 sec. Ce Jack Saloon n'arrive pas à la cheville des Jack...
