Les Contrebandiers Boissonnerie gourmande — Restaurant in Trois-Rivières

You would expect better for a place this expensive in trois rivières. We had a reservation at 6:30pm, the waitress didn’t come to our table before 7pm (although we made signs and even got up to ask for someone). We ordered drinks and food and the drinks didn’t come until 7:30pm. At this point we’re hungry, tired of waiting and starting to get angry. Then the first dish didn’t come until 8:30PM(!!!!), and two people still hadn’t gotten their food while some had already finished. Unacceptable. On top of that the plates were just meh. You would expect at least good food for these prices. Overall poor service...

The experience at this restaurant was underwhelming. The food was unremarkable; the fries in the burger were overcooked, and we found a hair in the scallops appetizer. When we brought this to the waiter’s attention, they seemed confused and simply took the plate without offering an apology. The service overall was lackluster. However, the ambiance and decor were impressive, with a great music selection and pleasant lighting. It's a beautiful restaurant, but it’s in serious need of better staff...

We went tonight for dinner with our mom; we took the time to tell our waitress that we wanted two bills; one for drinks and the other for the meal. It was extremely important for us. At the end of our meal, the new waitress did not respect our wishes and gave our mom the entire bill with the meal and drinks!
