Ordered the chicken fried rice and the general tao chicken tonight for supper. Got home tried a bite of the rice. It was so over cooked it was soggy and tasted like nothing but water. The chicken wasnt a little spicy like normal, it was sweet and sour. Called the restaurant to complain as the food is literally not edible to be told she will re do my order. I had to tell her 3 times I dont want to drive into town again to try again, that I just wanted a refund as the food was disgusting the first time I wasnt taking a chance again. She said sorry we don't do that here. So I said goodluck with your business then cuz 32.00 is ridiculous for what I got. A 4 year old couldve cooked better. Will not be a returning customer and Ive eaten here plenty over the 8 years ive lived here and this is absolutely sad for the quality of food your serving. Went to ho ho wok the other night got a combination plate with chicken soo guy and beef and broccoli. Had to pay 2 bucks for the substitution which I find annoying but everybody does it so they lose no marks for that! Beef and broccoli was great! Rice was great! Soo guy was great! Oh and the girl was nice. What they lose a mark for is packing my eggroll in the same dish as the meal,thus making it soggy. Mostly all of the places know enough to pack it separate.Speaking of the eggroll it wasn’t bland but I wasn’t big on the flavour. Very disappointed in this place. Yes, the cost of food has gone way up, but that really reflects on the food that is being served here. Portion size and ingredients have drop significantly. We ordered the same meal and it looked like they took one meal and split it in two. The beef and broccoli was just broccoli, there were little shredded pieces of beef mixed in, but you could hardly tell or taste. The chicken portion wouldn't feed a kid, they dropped the portion size by more than half. They gave plenty of rice, but there were hardly any ingredients in it, it was basically just plain fried rice. Not sure we will return here. This used to be our favorite...
