New review- I dont understand what would be the reason of putting very less material on the tacos. On top, they forgot to give sour cream again with my order. Upon asking, attendant refused to give she wanted me to pay for it. Why would i pay for it? Because u made ur mind not to offer me. I was very upset with the service. They started putting very less rice, beans, onions. Thats not worth it. No one gives a shit to reviews. I feel like their quality has severely declined. I always order tacos from here but from my last couple of orders, i felt like, rice were undercooked, on top, less material, making it more drier. Also, i got order of veggie tacos and chicken tacos recently. I drove from burnaby to just realize that my order was missing salsa and sour cream. I was very unhappy, my partner was hungry so he had it without sauces but i did not wanted to eat them so i drove back from burnaby to vancouver. I informed the attendant about what happened. I even asked her if she can make just anew veggie one because after all i was not looking for free food(its just spoiled my dinner time so i wanted to eat it hot and fresh. She made it again but that is common sense that my order was missing two condiments then why i got just one? Why wont u give two sets? When my order was two tacos initially. Anyways, i left, since they are just mostly behind the wall so u cant really communicate with them plus if u call at night, the call even dnt go through. So i am very unhappy with recent visit. I am not sure if i will order again because i feel like they have hired someone new and the taste is not the same and so service. Old review-Their service is very efficient. I love their food. Omg its extremely scrumptious. I also enjoy their tuesday offer on all tacos....

I will compare it with Chipotle since most people are familiar with that. For the record I really love Chipotle. I got the platter which is essentially a burrito bowl. The quantity is a bit smaller than Chipotles burrito bowl but also, the price is a bit better. I did enjoy Border Burrito more though, and the portion is still very large. One very filling meal, or you could probably split it into two light meals.

The sour cream and hot sauce came in packets so you can control it better. When places add the sour cream for you it just seems to melt away with the heat and you don't notice the texture of it. Adding it as you eat is better. And I also like the corn tortillas here a better than Chipotle's flour tortillas. Overall it was a very excellent meal.

Also they're open till 1:00 a.m. which is nice because I work late at night and chipotle closes pretty early at 10:00. Everything was very fresh and tasted great. The ratio of beef to everything else seemed higher here as well. The girl at the register was very smiley and friendly. The price is great for what you get. I paid just over 14 dollars with the side of tortillas, tax and tip in.

I don't have any complaints... But I have a small suggestion. You get six small corn tortillas for $1.50 extra, but usually I only like using a bit of tortilla. I would prefer an option for three for 75 cents, but like I said it's a very small suggestion.

5 star overall, and that is largely based on the value. You can probably find better Mexican food but rent up paying practically twice as much. I will...
