I've been to this cute bake shop 3 times since finding out it exists. I usually get the macarons which are not only very pretty, but delicious as well. The texture is perfect, crispy outside but chewy and moist inside. The fillings are also very creative and delicious. The macarons aren't too sweet either. The flavours are all on point. I was so excited when I found out they make anime/video game themed cakes as well. Today, I picked up the birthday cake I ordered and I'm absolutely happy with it. It's so cute and turned out even prettier than the inspiration picture that I sent. The chiffon cake itself was soft and not dry. The Vietnamese coffee cream filling was delicious. The whole cake wasn't too sweet at all. The cake was nice and light. Everyone I served the cake to loved it and commented on how good it was. It's not cheap, but definitely worth the price because you can see the details and hard work that was put into making it. A star-shaped candle was also included showing that the baker really understood the theme. She told me she even looked up the game. The best part is that the cake actually tastes good and it's not just pretty to look at. The biggest disappointment I have with most custom cakes is that they just look pretty but really aren't edible due to the amount of icing and sugar in it. The cake I ordered from here really lived up to the store's name as it truly was love at first bite. I'm definitely going to be a repeat costumer. I highly recommend this place for anime themed cakes and macarons!

The first question that pops into my mind when I arrive home with Chantel’s beautifully decorated food art is ā€œhow am I supposed to eat this?!?ā€ - everything she makes in her store as well as for her pop-up shops at various markets around town is meticulously and adorably decorated to the point where they are *almost* too-cute too eat but once I find the heart to finally bite into the face of my favourite characters, I’m always happy about the quality of the pastries themselves! I love coming across unique flavours like white rabbit candy, hojicha, ube, pandan, jasmine yuzu, lychee, and black sesame to name a few, and seeing fun characters I grew up with and loved in my childhood that get incorporated into macaron/cake designs like Kirby, Winnie the Pooh and friends, a myriad of kawaii animals, Sanrio buddies, and way more than I can list in a google review - everything I’ve come across is brightly colored and really taste like their descriptions. For my birthday this year, I ordered a 3D character chiffon cake shaped like Poohbear stuck in a hunny pot with a little purple hat and buttercream Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore figures ! Main flavours were lychee and jasmine, perfect flavours for a summer birthday! 🌸 the cake itself is super light and fluffy, not sweet and filled with real lychee pieces šŸ˜‹ the fragrance of jasmine tea was infused in the airy buttercream and complimented the lychee very nicely Overall super happy with this cake, can’t wait to see what flavours come up at the next market pop-up market ! šŸ¤©šŸ˜

I can’t say anything about the atmosphere and service, as I’ve never stepped foot in this bakery. Our friend gave us a tiramisu and macarons from this bakery in celebration of my husband’s birthday. The packaging and the macaron designs were very cute. The teddy bear tiramisu tasted good. It didn’t taste like the tiramisus I’ve had in Italian restaurants or that I made with an Italian. Nevertheless, it was rich in coffee and quite creamy. Although the cream was different from what I’m used to, it was still tasty, so no complaints. We don’t ever go out to buy macarons, but if someone gives us macarons, I will gladly eat them. I thought their macarons were not too sweet and my husband thought they were. I didn’t like the sesame flavour at all. The Hong Kong milk tea flavour was okay. We got to try only these two flavours. Dec 2, 2023 Update: I visited their booth at Japan Market, as I wanted to try their Spy x Family macarons. Due to popular demand, they were sold out within a couple hours. If they decide to make Spy x Family macarons part of their regular menu, I will definitely go buy them at their store!
