CafĆ© that has been opened for 10+ years, located on the upper level of City Square Shopping Centre (right above the escalators, itās hard to miss). They have a wide variety of coffees, cold drinks, pastries, sandwiches, soups and more. When I went, they had a combo deal going on for a free soup with any purchase of a sandwich and drink. Prices are quite reasonable as well. Currently only take-out or delivery. Friendly staff and quick service.
My order: Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Ball ($3.70): highly recommend this one! Itās basically a large Reece cup in a ball shape. Dark chocolate coated peanut butter ball, with chunks of real peanuts sprinkled in as well. Itās surprisingly not too sweet, but itās quite rich so Iād recommend getting just one for the perfect after meal dessert (or pack a few for the road).
Frappe Caramello ($6+): subtle caramel flavour, but it isnāt too sweet overall and is a great iced drink to cool down on a hot day. Most drinks come in small, medium, or large size.
Frappe Mochalatto ($6+): It is more chocolate-y, so itās perfect for people who donāt like strong coffee drinks. Slightly sweeter than the caramel frappe.
Beef Sausage Roll ($3.70): flaky pastry dough, and they heat it up for you. Nice and filling snack.
Turkey Panini (~$9): they heat this up on a panini grill for you. Comes with cheddar cheese, sundried tomato, pesto, spinach, and mayo on a house-made ciabatta bun. I like the sweet-tart flavour that the sundried tomato adds to the sandwich. Easy hot meal to take to-go.
Macaroon Madness (~$3): I liked the oatmeal and coconut crumble on top, it adds a good texture and taste. Thereās also a caramel drizzle on top. It has a soft mushy texture, but was a bit too sweet for my personal preference.
Cinnamon Twist: house-made as well, with a nice caramelized crunchy cinnamon top. I microwaved it at home with a bit of butter and it is...

I went to this place in city square (Broadway- Vancouver)yesterday. Their customer service is worst. I ordered a coffee and it was not according to my taste. I asked the lady working there, her name was SARA to mix some extra milk / sugar or if she can change it. I was being polite with her and she replied back ,āWhy would I change it, you donāt know the taste of coffee ā.I asked her if I can talk to the manager because I felts that she is not the right person to talk. She dialed her number and started talking to the Manager in her own language. It is totally unacceptable. When I was talking to her manager , she was interrupting me again and again and doesnāt allow me to finish my talk. Itās the basic customer service skill , when someone talks over the phone , let them finish . Unfortunately she failed to understand this. She was giving us her unwanted attitude. The way she was standing, laughing at us and staring at us is totally unacceptable. She needs to go back to school to learn basic customer service skills and she needs English classes as well. She does not know how to speak English. I am surprised how managers hired such kind of people who does not know anything.
If you donāt want to spoil your day , please donāt go there and never get your coffee from SARA....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat food! Ordered from Uber eats today, got ham and cheese sandwich, egg salad sandwich, a large choco banana muffin, berry square and this incredible chocolate covered peanut butter thingy that I want to order ten more of. Was also supposed to have a Jamaican patty but someone forgot to put it in the bag ( ; _ ; ). Happens sometimes with large orders, the rest is really yummy though!
Stuff tastes fresh and is well-seasoned, would definitely recommend their food and plan to pop by next time I'm in the area.
Seriously though if you like reeses peanut butter cups do yourself a favour and try their chocolate peanut butter thingy they don't look like much but those tiny chocolate balls are sooooo good. I'd post a pic but I already gobbled mine up.
Edit: THE MUFFINS ARE ALSO REALLY DAMN...
