You won't feel guilty or weird for wanting just some good pasta from a low key place. There's no compromise, no judgment, no expectations from diners than just to arrive hungry. I can see why so many people just drop by, and feel invited to eat fresh pasta. We went and ordered two formaggio pastas for the first time today. Fresh, creamy, delectable in every bite. The portions are generous, and yet, you crave for more. I literally have no photos because we ate it all up. Amazing garlic bread too, as well as incredible desserts, tiramisu and panna cotta. We knew from our first bites of the pasta it won't be our last!

Honestly, thank goodness for Fresh Solo who has replaced the previous cursed occupant. It doesn't have to be the most embarrassing place to be seen in in the West End anymore. More community members seem intrigued to go inside, ready to shock themselves that this space indeed has new operators.

Can't wait to try Fresh Solo again and again. The staff were also warm and friendly, as you'd come to expect from a down-to-earth spot like Fresh Solo Pasta....

I had an incredible experience at Fresh Pasta Solo, and it has officially become my go-to spot for authentic, delicious pasta!

🍽 Food: The pasta was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. their garlic bread was warm, crispy, and packed with flavour—the perfect way to start the meal.

🍮 Desserts: I couldn’t leave without trying the tiramisu, and it did not disappoint! Light, creamy, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of coffee and cocoa. A perfect way to end the meal!

💁‍♂️ Service: The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. They gave great recommendations and truly made us feel welcome.

I visited the Denman location for the first time. It took a few minutes before someone acknowledged me, despite it not being busy at all. When I placed my order, the server asked if I wanted the pasta soft or hard. I said soft. Unfortunately, my dish was flavourless and the pasta was too hard for my liking, even though I had said I wanted it tender. The garlic bread I got was also mediocre. It wasn't crispy at all and not that warm. Throughout my dining, no one came by and asked how my food was. Despite the many positive reviews, my initial experience was average at best. On a more positive note, the music was nice.

After seeing management’s professional and friendly feedback, I reached out to them. They invited me back for another visit and I accepted the offer. My second visit was great! The two gentlemen working were both very polite, fun to talk with, and they made my experience very enjoyable! The food this time was also to my standards and delicious. I am so glad I went back and I’ve changed my rating to a well-deserved five stars!
