Noise Level: "This is a small and consistently loud restaurant. Despite requesting the window be closed due to a draft, the excessively loud speaker wasn't adjusted for over 30 minutes, requiring two attempts to get the volume lowered to a level where customers could converse." Server Attentiveness: "Getting the attention of the seemingly inattentive servers was very difficult. On multiple occasions, I had to physically move towards the exit to get their attention." Accessibility and Assistance: "As a patron requiring assistance, I was disappointed by the lack of help from the servers when leaving. Navigating the steep ramp and the doorway proved challenging, and no server offered assistance. It was another customer who thankfully intervened to help me." Initial Service Wait: "The initial wait to be served felt unusually long." Table Cleanliness: "The table provided for dine-in was inadequately cleaned. It appeared only the most recent debris was removed, leaving leftover rice that I had to push aside. The table was not properly wiped down." Food Quality (Beef): "The beef in the mixed platter was overcooked and tasted stale. The texture was tough and unpleasant." Water Service: "My water order was delayed significantly, arriving only when I was nearly two-thirds of the way through my meal, and only after considerable effort to get a server's attention." Food Quality (Overall): "While the meal was generally acceptable, it was not up to its previous standard and was noticeably saltier...

We used to order from here often for one main reason- the garlic sauce. It’s delicious. However, 50% of the time they forget to include it. Then we started calling to make sure they include it and it was still 50/50 on whether we’d get it. And now they started charging $2 for a side of garlic sauce. Out of the last two times we ordered: one time they forgot it (again) and the next time we did get it, but it was a tiny little dipping cup side of it. For $2! Absolutely ridiculous.

The other reason we used to order often was the great value, but now they keep increasing the prices. Just last fall the Large Chicken Shawarma Plate was $16 now it’s $22.50. The Ground Beef Kebab Plate was $13 and now it’s $16.50.

We’ve gotten tired of not knowing if we’ll get the garlic sauce (again the biggest reason we would choose Mediterranean Grill over the other 8 options in the area). That, along with now charging for a tiny side of it and the increased prices in general, has made us move on to the other shawarma places. It’s sad.

UPDATE AUGUST 2024: We were going to oder again through UberEats. They used to have a Buy One Get One Free deal for a chicken shawarma box (a smaller version of the chicken shawarma plate that doesn’t include everything the plate does), which was $23 and a decent deal. Just saw that they’ve now raised to price by $7 to $29.99 for that deal. The shawarma ‘box’ is only worth $15 so how is paying $30 Buy One Get One Free??? These people are greedy and raising prices far...
