I visit them based on the reviews, but I come to regret it. Worse experience in long time. I arrived just as they opened, so it was empty but become packed very quick. The server was very busy, thus the service very slow. The spiced oil jar was empty, same for the soy sauce. After waiting for a while to get their attention (like 10min or so), I had to go in the front and show them the empty spiced oil jar. Took them another 5 min to bring me a replacement. The replacement was taken from another table and was holding abut 1/2 inch at the bottom of another dirty jar. My food was already cold at that point. Noodles made in house? yes, but I found the food being bland and not particularly tasty. Anyway, there were a couple of more hiccups and at the and I asked for the bill. I was looking to tip 10% as I wasn't at all happy. To my surprise, 15% was already added to the bill and the terminal handed to me to pay with the credit card was asking me to make my choice between several options of other tips starting at 15% and not a word about the other 15% already added. So, you go there and you should tip 30% by default I imagine... I got pistoff. I intended to tip 10, but at this point I said I want to pay only the bill and the food and drinks that I had. Sorry, we can't remove the tip, you have to pay that. How come? It is added automatically as you ordered so many dishes and the kitchen is more busy and you have to pay for that... Soo many dishes? It was a family out thing. two adults, three little ones. We had 3 junior meals and three other full sizes dishes. I hardly can call this "many dishes". Usually the tip is added automatically when you are a party of 6 or 8 or more, depends by the number of persons served, not dishes out. Finally they found a way to remove the tip. I paid the bill and that's it. Not coming again ever. I was not impressed by the food and the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo on my trip to Vancouver, this was a stop that I really wanted to go to. It had great reviews and even my guide on one of the many food tours I went on said this place was great.
My wife had the peanut curry with chicken (though they forgot to add the chicken) and I had the Szechuan chicken. The peanut dish was very one dimensional, though the beans were grilled very well. My dish was good with spicy notes and not an overly sweet sauce you would find at a local take out. Overall, something I enjoyed but wouldn't have again as I would try something else on the menu.
The best part of the meal was the house tea(but be warned about buying it)!!! My wife wanted to have some hot tea as her throat was a little sore, so we decided that the house tea sounded good. The longer this tea sat, the more it bloomed. No bitterness, just wonderful flavors. It was so good, I asked if they sell the tea on its own. Though they were out, the waitress said she could make up some bags.
Here is the one downside of the whole experience (where it lost the 4th star) is while I unpacked the tea back home in Charlotte, NC. A lot of the bags were very randomly filled with no care of the ratios of how each part of the tea combination made the whole. Most of them were 80% rock sugar. Of the 10 I thought I purchased, I got 9. I took pictures of 1 good filled bag and the others are showing just 80% sugar. I also took a picture of what the tea looked like in their tea pot. They said that was equivalent to a double portion.
I really wished I checked this before leaving the restaurant š¢. It was...

My wife and I tried legendary noodle for the first time for take out and received a pretty poor quality order. I didnāt feel the need to slander your business publicly with details since it may have been a one-off occurrence so I simply left 1 star to reflect the quality of our one and only experience. But thank you for askingā¦
To summarize, we ordered the beef spinach soup, chicken wok fried noodles and xia jiao shrimp dumplings. The wok fried noodles were passable but not all that flavourful. Had this been the only dish I would say 3.5/5 stars? More toppings would bring it to 4 or 5 stars as the noodles were pretty good- but made up of 90% of the dish. We actually didnāt even eat the soup at all because the broth was like a bland grassy taste and the beef was mostly just pieces of chewy fat. The dumplings just had me confused. When I opened the box they had each fallen apart with the inside shrimp balls as the only loose edible part while the outer wrappings of every dumpling had stuck to the sides of the box like melted plastic would to a cardboard box and couldnāt be peeled off to even eat. I should have taken photos but I just ate the shrimp insides and we shared the wok noodles and threw out the soup. Hopefully this was all just a one time thing since your other reviewers...
