Was my first time here today, not the greatest experience.

The menu was apparently new and was very confusing. Vegan items were not marked correctly, there was only 2 items on the menu marked as vegan which was 1 burger and the nachos.

When i ordered a burger, i did an add on to make the burger a full dinner, i must have misunderstood the menu because i told the server id like it with the potatoes and the cole slaw, then proceeded to confirm if the coleslaw was vegan.

When i got my order i was served a burger and cole slaw with no potatoes which left me confused, after speaking with the server only 1 side is included in the $3 addon and the last thing she had heard was the slaw so thats what i got. She then nicely replaced the slaw for me with potatoes.

The burger was very good, for how basic it was id give it 10/10

The slaw was not a slaw, it was a cole slaw style salad, but thats fine

The potatoes were COMPLETELY unseasoned, i need to add salt constantly (literally over 10 times), and using lots of ketchup as i was eating to give them flavour. Whoever cooked them does not understand how to season food properly or made an error while cooking

The tmrw foods burger was the one thing which saved this place but overall not very good value as what i got was smaller, more expensive, and less tasty than a main burger from meet on main which comes with fries and salad for $13.50 vs what i got, which was a burger and unseasoned fries for $15

this review is to provide constructive insight on how to improve your food and menu, i will try back in a few weeks/months and update my review if i feel the dishes, menu, or pricing has...

The whole trope of "Heard from a friend of a friend of mine" that's how I learned of this place! Word of mouth! The outside makes it look like just another dive bar, you could just walk right past it for years before going in if nobody told you about it. When you walk in there's a podium to wait to be seated, the person brought us in and sat us at the witchery table (it was called that on the receipt, kinda cool!) Our server greeted us, she seemed happy, all smiles, she handed us the drink menu and food menus gave us a moment to decide and she was off to prepare the beverages. As we were looking at the menu, the table beside us got a Large sized pulled pork nachos and it looked as exquisite as you can imagine, a board of crisp Nacho's, covered in the melted cheese and the aroma was delectable! I leaned over and asked her what it was and she told us, so we ordered it up when our server got back.

The place itself has a lot to look at on the inside hanging on the walls, the lighting. If you're looking for a place to bring your kids, you could bring them here, however with the size of the establishment, it does get pretty noisy, fast, once it fills up. Would definitely go again! Would probably order a regular sized nachos and something else from the menu heh. Thank you for having us! (Will take photos on my...

Let me tell you, if you find yourself in near this place and you're looking for a true dive bar experience with great food, look no further than JACKALOPE'S NEIGHBOURHOOD DIVE. Walking into this place for the first time, you might think it's total chaos with people, music blaring and posters covering every inch of wall space. But spend some time here and you'll find it's actually a really welcoming, fun spot.

What I love about this place is that they keep it simple - great beer, solid food and metal music, all done right. And not just one happy hour but two each night! The nachos, Coop of the dammed sampler plate and slow cooked meats are standouts on the menu. It's pub fare but done with care and flavor, not your average greasy bar food.

Even more impressive is their extensive gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options. It's not often you find a place like this being so accommodating. As for the drinks, the selection is massive and they've got all the classics any hard rock fan could want.

Between the cool vibe, tasty eats and constant metal soundtrack, is definitely worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood. It may seem chaotic at first but spend some time soaking it all in - I guarantee it'll be an unforgettable experience. This is a true...

What a rad place! I’m not a metalhead, but as a goth who loves jackalopes, this bar has my heart. I visited from Portland and it somewhat reminds me of Black Water Bar out here, or Brutal Poodle in Denver, but the decor is wayyyy busier and more eclectic! I wish I had the chance to walk around and take pictures, but it was super packed on a Friday night. I had the pierogies and they were way better quality than I was expecting, even came with a brat and sauerkraut! Very grateful for the WiFi as I don’t have cell data here; I was able to get directions back to my Airbnb after dark without issue. Jackalope is my new favorite metal bar, so I hope to revisit one day! Shout out to the lovely bartender who gave me a pack of buttons, you rock!

Cool and fun atmosphere. It's kind of a theme bar. If you like metal and rock music u would like it. Amazing nachos, but cray expensive. They have some interesting nacho falvours. Must try! I had the smaller size nacho with guacamole added and it was $28. Seems steep to me! You do get a decent amount, enough for 2 people if your not that hungry. U do end up with a decent amount with no toppings when u get thru it so i feel like it should be cheaper or layered a little better. The large size is like $34, haven't seen what that looks like, but I assume it is massive and feeds twice as many peeps. Give it a go

Great spot at East Hastings! Place is unique, decoration and music-wise. Definitely don’t go if you don’t like prog rock or metal, the music is not loud but you can definitely hear it. We tried the Thursday cheeseburger, reasonably priced and tasting good, as well as the Hawaiian Intervention nachos. They were delicious, but we felt a little bit lacking for a party of 8; most importantly it took some 40 minutes to arrive, and by then we were starving haha. They were delicious (ingredientes, spices, sauces), but the wait time was too long. Service was friendly and beers were fantastic.
