I live in the building 1708 Columbia Street, so I live just above JJ Bean. This entire community has been blessed to have such a well run coffee shop. They over do everything and give everybody VIP service no matter who you are!

Story time:

I come here every morning for the last 14 years for a cup of Matcha Soy Latte. They have the best in town btw, don't even bother trying another anywhere else. One randon given morning, I held up the dragon long line of people waiting for their crack I mean coffee. Not one, but ALL of my cards were DECLINED. I was so embarassed and I was stressing because I'm the one causing the hold up. Guess what, one kind soul offered to buy me my $6 drink!!!!??!?!! I was so grateful that I bought at $200 gift card and asked Kenny Leon to spend $111 on the next customers in the store for the their wild crazy rushes all day everyday. This place is bumpin in the morning. It's like youre 19 again and first time going to the club.

Lets jsut say, I'm your most loyal puppy dog, JJ bean. Long live JJ Bean! Please allow me the privilege and honor to bless this business with my peasant life. LOL Ale just helped me spell privilege becuase I didnt know there was no D in privilege. They also recognized my red SuperSoaker that I go to waterfights with today! Blessed...

First off: I love JJ Bean! Their coffee is amazing and, in my opinion, the best in Vancouver! I've been going there for years but have had the experience I had this morning happen just one too many times and now just need to make it known to the company in the best way I can: if it could please be communicated to your staff a bit clearly that they need to take extra care to get the order right if a dairy alternative is ordered that would be amazing. On three separate occasions over the last year I have ordered a coffee with a dairy alternative due to a fairly extreme allergy (hives, stomach issues) and have been given a full dairy order. This morning was the third time this has happened and I will now go the rest of my work day with a face full of hives and extreme cramps. I know there are some people out there that just prefer non-dairy and that it is not imperative if it gets mixed up but there are people out there like me who can have their entire day ruined by their morning coffee.

It is close to my office, so I came here to buy lunch. They have a few varieties of wraps, sandwiches, and breakfast sandwiches. Other than coffee beverages, they have juices, water and others.

Their customer server was great. I had problems choosing the food that I liked, because they had many options that all of them tasted great. A server recommended what she thought was the best to me. That was great! I went with her choice and I liked it!

Coffee here was great! All of my coworkers also agreed with that. Instead of going to Starbucks, they or we would prefer JJBeans. :)

I am glad that JJBean is around the neighbourhood, so we can have more options on coffee and food other than Starbucks.

It is always best to walk to this coffee shop. It is a bit hard to find parking on the streets because construction is going on...
