Stopped by this wonderfully hidden cafe bakery as tge Tim Horton's down the block was packed. A little hidden next to the Centre for Digital Media but the space inside and out is gorgeous! Prior to entering in there's a little patio to the right and a covid19 safety sign asking patrons to wear a mask before entering. It was around 9:15am when I popped in and boy was there a line! Service was quick and staff friendly. Ordered my self an Americano and a savoury red pepper feta cheese Puff Tart! Delicious! The coffee was hot and puff pastry is a must try! The area is beautifully decored with paintings and a large black/white mural. There's also a 2nd floor, but blocked off due to Covid19 protocols. The space is large, welcoming and combine that with calming upbeat music and friendly speedy staff this spot is sure to please!

I had the most wonderful experience at this coffe The ambiance is cozy, inviting, and perfect for enjoying a beautifully crafted drink. I ordered a matcha roasted marshmallow , and it was a true work of art not just in presentation but in taste as well. The balance of flavors was spot-on A special shoutout to the barista with curly hair, Elof (or Ilof), who truly elevated the experience. Her attention to detail, from the stunning latte art to the perfectly toasted marshmallows, was impressive. You can tell she put real passion into their craft, making each cup feel like a masterpiece. If you’re looking for a place that serves not just drinks but an experience, this is it! Highly recommend stopping by.

I stopped by Kafka’s and was blown away by how delicious everything was! Their pumpkin muffin had the perfect balance of spice and sweetness, with crunchy pumpkin seeds and just the right amount of sugar crystals on top. I also tried the CPP Yeah You Know Me sandwich, and it was packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients that made every bite a treat. To top it all off, their decaf pumpkin spice latte was smooth, creamy, and just the cozy fall drink I needed. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and their selection of freshly baked goods is incredible. If you're in Vancouver and looking for a great cafe experience, Kafka's should definitely be at the top of your list!

A friend raved about the sourdough bread here so I went into this bakery for the very first time ever to buy a loaf and try it. While I have yet to try the bread (I trust my friend's judgement in this regard implicitly), the counter staff (two young ladies)'s indifference to me while they conversed amongst themselves gave me pause ... even the young lady in the oven room did nothing to help move things along in terms of recognition of what I might be doing patiently standing there waiting for service ... with only one other gentleman hanging about the order counter waiting for who knows what (he and I engaged in friendly greetings as I had little else to do until I could get some attention from either of the counter staff). Owner / Operator: you should consider coaching your staff in Customer Service skills ... these folks you have didn't seem attentive enough to clients ... that, or, replace them. My visit was...
