Very unorganized staff. Untrained employee's working the till where Managers just chit chatting near the fryers. This seems to be the normal routine at almost all the MacDonald's hear in Vancouver. There was a time when working at MacDonald's Restuarants was considered the best job & best Employers to work for. The training given at MacDonald's was one of the best trainings in Customer Service Jobs. If one worked for MacDonald's ever, his chances of being hired by other well established high paying Companies was a given. I guess that was than. In today's time & age MacDonald's have the worst trained employee's. Food is midiocar, Resturants are always filthy, Flys & other insects always buzing near the drinks station. Garbage containers constantly over flowing with garbage, Tables & floors sticky, stained with food & drink spillage, some times not enough supplies even stocked for Customers to access. Waite time is now more than before as now you order on the App, Interact Machines or at the drive thru, in either case you are waiting a long time before you get your food. What a waiste of time & money!!! When drive throughs had you in & out within seconds, Inside face to face ordering was quick, right, fast. Those times I would say people really enjoyed MacDonald's fast food cause you always got Hot, tastey, well seasoned, right order, & with lots smiles & gr8 Customer Service. I will only go to MacDonald's if #1 I really don't have much cravings anything will do, #2 If someone with me is actually craving MacDonald's. Otherwise I can get better burgers, fries, soft drinks & other types of drinks & food at Wendy's, Burger King, A&W, Harvey's, White Spots etc. I would be happy if my review would make a difference to MacDonald's Resturants & have them change back to the public's favorite fast food joint they use to be at one time, I personally would go back & recommend others to go. Read moreTime and time again, been to this macdonald's on so many occasions because of the terrible customer service at the grandview location mistakes after mistakes. Deciding to change to this lougheed location thinking it was some what gonna improve. This location efficiency is alright. Compared to any other macdonalds I've been to any other. But on so many occasions with unsalted french fries or just serve customers french fries that looks like french fries has been sitting in the warmer all day. And gave us new fries to us still looking like french fries has been thrown back into unswitched oil again. Instead of frying their french fries fresh? How hard is it to make food fresh? Quality has been down on so many occasions. So many customers decide not to step up and say anything cause they have a sheet of warning paper for customers that they will not tolerate any harrassment or whatever. But also with their burgers it looks like they just slap the burgers together with whole bunch of tar tar sauce or ketchup, and throw a whole bunch of lettuce in the burger box. Like they ain't cheap with lettuce than sauce or meat. Especially their fountain drinks, 4 out of 5 days drinks are either water downed. Never ice coming out of the left side of the fountain drink machine what so ever. 4 out of 5 days their foutain drink station counter is never wiped down. What yoy call it? I really hope health inspectors can literally give them a serious check up if their up to standard or not. Health inspectors should seriously intervene at every other macdonald's location. This is way beyond me. Yeah macdonalds's is a fast food place, but still considered a restaurant. We're paying decent amount of money on our meals. And if they can't get things way their suppose to be. All staff at macdonald's really need to be re-trained....
Read moreSince this PENDEMIC has started, the food quality, Customer Service quality, both have suffered drasticly in Restaurants, Fast Food joints & believe it or not even Grocery stores as well. My trip to MacDonald's was pathetic this time round. The drive through window clerk to start with couldn't get my order straight, once I got that taken care of I was paying with my MacDonald's gold gift card & he kept saying there was no balance on my bran new card. Finally the manager took some time but figured out that the system was out of power meaning the plug had come loose from the wall. 20 minutes waisted, I made it to the food collection window. As I received my order 5 people's order was unpacked in one bag that was covered with leaking grease from the food cartons right to the bottom & sides of the bag. Can't believe that I actually had to point it out to the Clerk handing me the food. Infact the bag had already ripped from all the grease stains on the bag.
The manager asked us to pull into the parking spot marked #2 & the Clerk will bring out the order. After 35 mins of waiting for our dinner, I had to walk inside the MacDonald's to find out what has happened to my order? I collected the order & headed home cause everyone else at home was waiting for our dinner. We sat down at the dinning table & I started to pull out everyone's meals. For $55.00 the food was cold, the coffee cup was not full, it was cold & . expensive Never again will I attend. , this...
