Once called Sushiholic this restaurant changed owners and underwent a name change and a surface makeover. The menu has also changed with the signatures being the biggest difference. Though some of the menu covers still sport the Sushiholic name.

While I miss Sushiholic's Agedeshi Tofu options, Sushi High has a neat offering where they give you 6 beautifully crispy, I might say even crunchy, pieces separated into three different sauces. Texture is wonderful. Not many places I've been to get the outer skin this well crisped. Exactly how I like my agedeshi tofu.

We had the Crazy Girl Roll and the Mega Roll signature rolls. Both where deep fried items. While the Mega Roll was lightly fried and then topped with a literal mountain of ingredients, the Crazy Girl Roll was all of the ingredients encased in a thin deep fried batter. Both were delicious, but be careful with the Crazy Girl Roll as it retains heat! The nice thing about that one also is that you can eat it in smaller bites whereas trying that with the Mega roll resulted in the remainder of the roll spilling into a mess on the plate - admittedly a delicious mess ;-).

Service was polite and speedy - hard not to be as the place is 40' square. If anything, it is a bit cramped. I'm a big guy and I'm not fantastically happy to share my meal conversation with people up to 3 tables over,...

Cute little sushi spot conveniently located on East Broadway. I have tried many different sushi places around Vancouver, Burnaby, and Richmond, and this is definitely one of the better sushi places around! Went for dine in with a friend recently and we enjoyed our experience there. The place is on the smaller side with only a few tables but we went during a non-peak hour and were seated right away.

From the minute we walked in, service was warm and welcoming. The place is very clean inside so we felt safe dining in and they have good covid protocols set in place. We ordered the California roll, spicy yam tempura roll, salmon maki, edamame, and miso soup. Food did not disappoint. It was fresh, well made, and delicious!

Our server was very polite and friendly, and she came by to check on us and refill our tea multiple times without being invasive at all. Very reasonable pricing for the premium quality and service. I will be going back to try other items on their menu and will be ordering takeout from them in the future. I...

This place is honestly fantastic. It has a classic "small sushi diner" feeling that I've missed among the flashier and more loudly Japanese places downtown. The food is exactly what you'd expect, particularly the salmon nigiri and rolls, but I found the udon to be generously portioned! It always felt there was more to eat and the broth had a solid and deep flavor.

The service was nice but the best part about it was that the waitress doesn't approach you while you have food in your mouth! The atmosphere could do a bit more if they wanted a classic but tbh they're right next to a busy street. So if you love the sounds of cars passing by (which I do) you'll actually find this quite soothing!

In any case, I loved this place. Each piece was okay, but together it was greater than the sum of its parts. So...

Sushi—horrible. After half a dozen orders, you’d think they’d nail the basics, yet every visit tests your patience. Their “crispy” tempura arrives overcooked, and the dynamite rolls look sloppy as a rush job with avocado more brown decay than anything you’d dare call “fresh.” Customer service is abysmal, too—apparently the owner now doubles as the waiter given the argumentative responses to trigger words like " do you have any specials" For the prices they charge, you’re not getting premium quality—more like dollar-store fare. There are better options out there for less, and parking is virtually impossible, since the employees take the closest customer spots and give you a “why so serious?” look as they head into the kitchen. This place needs to be avoided they would need to pay me to deal with them again.

When I walked in I expected this place to be a bit negative since it's a new management. I'm happy to say that I was wrong. The waitress was polite and the vibe was nice. The chefs weren't very welcoming though. They just glared at us. Well it looked like they were glaring. I hope it's just their resting face. The food has many varieties. The aburi was delicious and the salad was actually not as small as I imagined for a side fish. I can't believe I'm saying this but the price also is not that bad! The Tokyo chef dish was only $30! Plus tip is about $35~ but that's a really good deal! The dish is enough for two people so you can split the bill. I'M definitely coming here again to try the other chef dishes too.

Place used tobe called Sushi holic now it’s Sushi high. I think it’s under different management. 2 years ago the food was really good and lots of portions the. It became smaller and more expensive. Now under nee management i think they’re better. Awesome location since it’s close to my place and residential areas. They offer skip the dishes and I think they should probably do ubereats as well. The teriyaki bowl is exquisite! The salmon is also fresh . Usually there is only 1 or 2 servers and it tends to get busy but overall i rate them good. Good lowkey place to bring your side ting you know what I’m saying
