Hell hath open a restaurant ā it's McDonalds, in 2024, at this location.
Mcdonalds is a paradox: they seem to be at the forefront of innovation, except not in the way you would expect. For the past 10 years or so McDonalds sole focus seems to be figuring out how to provide increasingly miserable food, service, and value across all their offerings.
Their new counter service system, is optimized to have a mostly empty till area with no employee's around, so when your inevitably missing something like a straw, ketchup or napkins, well, good luck buddy!
Notice all those things used to be self serve - straws, napkins ketchup, drinks. That's all behind the front desk now. And there is no one there to give it to you. I once saw a man get handed a sunday; when he received it the runny ice cream immediately started dripping down the side as the lid had not been attached correctly. He tried to get a napkin but there was no one around so he just stood there for 2 minutes while ice cream dripped down his hand onto the floor. This is normal.
Their new order kiosk, seems like fine idea, until you realize it's completely irrelevant. Orders often complete disappear from the queue well before they are ready. Good luck trying to ask someone if your order has been lost. Maybe it has, maybe it hasn't. There is no one to ask!
But face it, you probably came here for the cheap tasty food you remember from your childhood. Well somehow the food is worse. 90% of the time it is a lukewarm, deconstructed mess, with a thimble of lettuce, served with soggy limp fries.
But its cheap, right?! Nah, you can most likely find a quality burger made from scratch for the same price (or less) from a local restaurant. Which is honestly insane.
McDonalds has been trimming every possible positive aspect it may have once had, in exchange for basis points. At this point there's nothing left but a business that embodies the essence of one of their burgers in every conceivable dimension: utter garbage.

First of all I ordered 2 cheeseburger with bacon added and additional cheeseburger plus another meal.. .when we finally got the food I had to wait an additional 5-8 mins for another drink we ordered I decided to eat my cheeseburger on the ride home and the cheeseburger was dry barely any condiments on it and get this! No frigging cheese! It was wrapped in a cheeseburger wrapping...anyway I was so annoyed they got that wrong when I got home my hubby said his cheeseburger was the same except his bacon was burnt and NO CHEESE?!?! like for real though there really is no excuse for that lack of basic attention. I paid $24 exactly for some food and got shity service and shity food. (Yea I know it's mcd but still I paid for it should be half descent at the least ffs) anyway my husband advised me to call the restaurant so I did talked to someone named Jan and he said for me to come in whenever and tell a manager I spoke to him to get my three cheeseburgers replaced...well all I can say is I understand it's fast food and blah blah blah but I paid for it and expect a certain service and not a cranky annoyed ass teen mad cause they stuck working and could care less about putting some cheese on a frigging burger and some ketchup mustard and pickles would be nice but nope the staff couldn't even accomplish that...all in all getting the 3 cheeseburgers replaced isn't so bad but not sure if I wanna eat it after all that non sense....anyway there's my long ass...

Ever since the Days Inn next door was converted to a low income housing unit, corporate McDonald's renovated this location to DOWNGRADE the service to prevent the homeless people from loitering around this location.
I would like to remind everyone that there are other members of this community who frequents this location to meet up with friends, catch up, and just do the normal things that people do when they go to a restaurant.
This McDonald's renovated to remove the self serve drink station and all condiments and napkins and other utensils from their self serve area to prevent theft of these items from the homeless. This is a fair preventative measure.
What is unacceptable is the fact that the service and attitude towards customers by the staff members at this location is absolutely despicable. When you renovate a location to expand your workspace, the efficiency levels should be improving because you're able to handle larger amounts of customers. This location has slack front lobby service, unaccommodating staff that won't help solve issues when they run out of certain things, extremely slow service, and absolutely horrendous knowledge on cleaning protocol. Someone really needs to teach their staff that they need to sweep first before mopping the floors and not the other way around and in front of customers.
I hope McDonald's sees this and do something about this terrible location that once...
